Google Adsense payouts - robbery?

Does anyone else have this problem where Google only pays you 15-20% of your earnings and keeps the rest in your account? I just checked and I had $420 sitting in my Google Adsense account, and Google only makes a payment of about $100-$200 every once in a while (whenever they feel like it basically!), leaving a larger chunk of money in their pockets every time.

Thank god that I don't rely on Adsense earnings to pay my bills. I feel sorry for those who built a marketing model 100% based on Adsense. Google clearly has no respect for marketers.

Yeah, I had that issue over a year ago...
They paid me less for a couple of months as far as I remember, but non-paid amount was still showing in my account. At some point I received a full check for the whole amount and payments went back to normal.
I wrote on adsense support forums but nobody had a clue - saying that they were invalid clicks, etc... Not sure what it was all about. The only reason I can think of is that I sold my biggest adsense site a few months prior and my monthly earnings went down quite a bit...
 
yes it's NET-30 but you don't get the entire amount! That is the fucked up thing. Say I earned $400 in a particular month, I'll only get about $100-$200 and the rest stays in my account. Is it just me that is having this problem?
 
Did you always have this problem or did it just suddenly started to happen? If it just started to happen out of nowhere, I'd say its some sort of a bug and I had similar issue. Tried to get a hold of adsense with no luck, posted on adsense support forums with no luck (try it, may be it will work), so I gave up on it as it was not a significant amount. A couple month later I got the whole amount.
 
"Google does not require tax information for this AdSense account. AdSense publishers are responsible for complying with the local tax laws as required by the publishers' local governments."

Never a problem here. An EFT for the full amount arrives every month and in all the years there has never been a single issue with a payment. Can't say the same thing about the other networks I've worked with.
 
100% every month for me. Haven't heard of this problem before now. Googlez hatez youz.
