Google defeating itself?

Basically looks like the Big G is twisting the knife in their own back. I mean we already new that, but looks like their sales are plummeting from their over joyless use of the Google slap.

Huh, could have fooled me - never really knew they wanted your money.

Oh yeah, no more minimum bids.

Interesting article. However, I think you look at it the other way, serving more relevant and high quality sponsored listings would increase the users trust in Google and would give them more incentive to click on sponsored listings. The advertisers conversion rate would stay high because their ad is supposedly high quality - but Google delivers more clicks. More clicks is more money for Google and the advertiser.

I'm not saying that is the case but you certainly could argue it that way.
