This happened yesterday. And apparently they don't want anyone talking about it.

A friend of mine happened to tweet about this, because we have a mutual friend that works for Google, and within the hour this friend was reprimanded about the tweet by the higher ups at the big G and they demanded it be removed.

The employee's name was never even used in the Tweet.

Dang.

Maybe they were hoping to slide this $1,000 cash bonus past the IRS?

It's fairly safe to assume someone from Google will discover this thread.

Hai gaiz.

I'm pretty sure they do this every year... All those computer programmers on the Google Bus with lots of cash = easy target. No wonder they don't want this getting out.

$1000 bonus in exchange for a year of busting your ass to make someone else rich. Yeah, good bargain!

the normal G bonus is 10 to xxxx times this amount .. so very likely it´s an extra gift
