We have a site that was ranked high for are keywords in nine different states. I owed the site and the guy that does the i.t. work on the site bought it, as it's one of a few others I owe. We switched owner ship and the site was placed at a go daddy dummy parking page, place holder... not pointed at are server for 24 hrs... google crawled us and totally dropped us from the face of the earth.... will we get are ranking back eventually?

Never allow a site to go to a holding page.. Yes, it will recover, but it could be 24 hours or 30 days, average from what I've seen is around 10 days.. It really depends on how Google feels when it next crawls the site..

Common sense would tell you to put the site back online and wait a few weeks for teh googles to crawl it...

nitro, your right and we did as soon as we noticed it. We run are own server and didnt notice the ip address was pointed at gd. It was only pointed at gd for maybe twenty hrs. I'm spending money just about daily with some guys on wf and we have made some great gains with all the sites and just wanted to make sure it wasn't a bigger blunder then we thought.
