My first computer was a Commodore 64

I was first on Windows 95 =)

After university I worked as a programmer for an American bank. I was developing on an IBM 4381 mainframe. After a year or two into the job, the department bought a Windows 3.1 PC ... I can still see us crowding round and playing with the mouse.

IBM 4381. We had a limit of 64K memory space. The main limiting factor though was disk I/O:

Classic. The Commodore 64 was the first one we used in Elementary School. I think the first one my family owned was an Apple II GS.

Same here... with the 1541 disc drive! Folks never did spring money for the MPS801 printer....

Hours and Hours and Hours worth of fun on the thing. Remember playing a game called 'Elite' for MONTHS... I think in the U.S. it became Privateer or some such later on... Just found a video on YouTube: C64 Elite (Firebird) - YouTube

The graphics and concept were AMAZING!!!!

Well.... for the time...

Also Bards Tale [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8VubXKOdTo"]C64 Longplay - The Bards Tale - YouTube[/ame]

Who can forget Impossible Mission with smooth as silk graphics: C64 Longplay - Impossible Mission (complete) - YouTube

What about Who Dares Wins: C64 Longplay - Who Dares Wins - YouTube
