Now Cain is on top. Perry pretty much blew it big time with his horrible debate performance. Even Ron Paul is gaining somewhat.
All this show to me is that the field is really weak. Romney isn't a strong candidate and people are just looking for anyone beside him. They thought that Perry was the guy, but it turns out he's not conservative enough on some issues like immigration, and he's not ready for prime-time as he showed during his debates.
I think it's time for Chris Christie to come in and sweep this up. A perfect opening if you ask me.
