Grab Up On $1.00 Domains



Nuuttsss. Last night I was reading the Economist in the bath, and got some ideas for a niche.
Next thing you know, I was researching domain names on Google keyword tool, found a bunch of queries at 90K a month with no .com domain covering them.

This deal could have saved me some $$$

BTW, does this only happen to me? You're reading something, you say "hey, that looks to be an interesting niche" and next thing you know, you're up half the night researching and registering...
 
Really good deal! however does anyone know how much they would charge to renew domains? They might be making monies on that, this year 1$ next year 20$ to renew..

Just port the domain over to Namecheap for 8 bones when that happens.

from the 9.95 the second year ( not sure if privacy is included from the 2nd year on but I suppose it is)
domains are registered with your details and not theirs( yes, I've seen stories like this several times, but with smaller companies )

Their control panel was down for me.. now it's up, and the status of my domain is "In Progress" so I can't change DNS.. I wonder how long it'll be "in progress" :/
 
I bought a couple domains and yes it only works for one domain. The purchase went through fine though. Doesn't seem to be a scam.
 
Used to work at Netfirms. Their domain service is great, but their hosting is shit.

Domains:
Free Privacy (even on all subsequent years. For .com, .net for sure, not sure if they have it available for others)
Canadian Company
9.95 for renewal
Change your DNS to anything you want

They are a legit company and have been up since 1998 I think, do about 14 million in revenue/year.
 
Yes, netfirms is a Legit company.
Their Pagerank is 8 out of 10.
this $1 domain very surprises.
Just bought it and later on transfer it to others.
