Yeah - I've seen that Canadiana video before, and on second viewing pretty confident it's a fake. In part because he blacked out his license plate number but not his face (or his girlfriend's face)...? Doesn't make sense. Also the acting isn't believable.

The description says that one second is enough to make a attacker nearly fall over. Two seconds is a full on the floor stun, and half a second is the think twice time. It also says if they grab or block the baton they get stunned. You could also just buy a higher voltage baton.
The benefit to this is if its 6 on one again you only need 2 secs to make it 5 on one. With a bat or baton they could get back up and rejoin the fight. This takes them out in a nonlethal way.
This has nothing to do with a stun baton, they could do the same thing if you slapped them or had a knife or a bat. In this video OP posted none of the attackers were armed.

Not that it really matters but where do you see that? I just read the description and it says:
"[FONT=arial , helvetica]Simply touching an attacker with the stun baton for three to five seconds will deliver a high voltage shock causing loss of balance"
3 to 5 seconds? Shit the guy would have to be already unconscious for you to be able to hold it on him for 3-5 seconds. It's not realistic to think you could do this in a street fight. 3-5 seconds is a VERY long time. And AFAIK they don't make (legal) stun batons much higher than 800k volts.
While you were concentrating on trying to touch me with your baton for 3-5 seconds I'd hit you 1 time in the face with my ASP baton and it would be all over.

I also have one of those. Here in California, if you get pulled over and a law enforcement officer wants to know why you have it, say it's a "tire checker" to hit against your tires to make sure they aren't punctured. (Tip came from a friend who is a police officer)

Crap you are right, I was reading it one of the pages I hit randomly last night but can't find it again. Most seem to confirm the 3-5 seconds you quoted which I agree is stupid.
