I'm black myself but yeah... sometimes even a brother needs to be put back on both feet. I had a situation like this with a local repairman one time when I was 16 I think... dude's punch made me feel never to disrespect a grown man's hustle. We're actually good friends today and I tell everyone his punch was a life lesson to me hah :)
