Your a funny guy. MS Paint? Microsoft works? Fuck you, you stupid cunt.

I ordered some coded designs from him and I couldn't edit them in MS Paint. I was like WTF man? And then he was like- bro, why not just edit the code? And I was like dude, code is for nerds, I only fuck with Paint and Microsoft Works - can you code it so I can edit in MS Works? And he was like, uhh no. And I was like fuck you man, I'm going to rage on your ass on WF and turn everyone against... me. Cuz I'm a fucking idiot who pays for services and then flips out when oddball requests I don't tell the service provider about aren't completed based on some weird chance that he can telepathically receive job requirements I don't mention to him. And then I realized I'm a failure and bought a generic pack of job applications from Staples to fill out and canvas fast food restaurants with so I can serve my life's intended purpose.

**EDIT - can a mod please close the thread. He just got in touch with me to make things right. He fixed everything so I can now edit my shit in CoffeeCup WYSIWYG on a Windows 97 box.

Sorry but yeah, he did the job right, I doubt the average site maker will ensure you can edit your site in dreamweaver, that retarded. Unless you asked for it, but then I expect some would say they simply wont do it.

.......I think everyone took this post out to left field.. I said I know how to code. I just dont want to have to go INTO the code every time I want to change something.. as most of you know, CODING is A BITCH. I fucking hate coding. I'd much rather open up my trusty dreamweaver (yes, not fucking notepad) to edit something in 3 seconds than open notepad and take 3 minutes. Yeah... call me fucking crazy.

@-god- not everyone is a fucking nerd with days upon days to code shit by hand. I got other shit to do. And how the fuck someone can call this "good" work when it wont even function in the simplest of programs is beyond me.

The simplest program is a notepad and it will work in that.

Anyway. You know how to code. That means you know dreamweaver is for web-designer fucktards. It'll also mean you should have a good editor, something like Notepad++ or Notepad2. I can edit a page in notepad++ a fuck load quicker than someone using dreamweaver and i'd put money on that. Probably before DW has opened in fact. (That's part of the beauty of CSS.)

Agree with most people. Being a developer for hire in the past, if it was not part of the initial agreement, it is not included in the quote. Including being able to edit in Dreamweaver. Coding by hand allows you to employ certain tricks aka hacks to make certain visual effects better, or just fix rendering issues. Programs such as Dreamweaver don't deal well with those.

: "listen i dont code the website in tables and i never check thru view option .. i juss coce it and then check my outputs in browsers"

When asked to fix it, so that I can edit the fucking site in dreamweaver, this piece of shit says to me "if you dont know the coding then what can i do"

Sounds fair to me. I don't think someone who handcodes (which is the proper way) deserves to be called an 'idiot' and a 'piece of shit'.

Like previously mentioned, I can't see how hand coded html cannot be edited in dreamweaver though. Seems like theres more to this than meets the eye.

lol i would hate to deal with you, you're a real asshole. but thanks for the thread on uniquecontent! I will be hiring him for a project very soon.

Yep. Best recommendation for Unique.

I explained it above.

If you needed it pre-formated for dreamweaver you should specified that to begin with, otherwise folks like myself and other are going to slice a PSD correctly into efficient xhtml/css rather than do a shitty slice export in photoshop. And even a fully compliant xhtml/css output can be opened and edited in dreamwever if you know how you'd think it'd actually be much easier to edit without the restrictions to 'slices'.

PS: I'm not actively looking to do any psd conversion work, after doing close to 400 of them in the past year I just get tired of them. As such I haven't been charging as cheaply as I once have.

I agree with kbless. It's always good to discuss all the details first so you don't have future problems. I am sorry that happened to you. Hopefully something was learned from this.

Probably an outdated version of Dreamweaver.
