Here it's the cost of seeds, the pots and your dirt mixture. Sunshine and water are free. You might spend a few bucks on food too. It doesn't cost a lot to grow outdoors. I'm guessing by the picts that is what the OP did.

I grew out three plants this summer. Trance, Frisian Dew and Orange Bud.

I was under the impression that doing it this way wasn't too conducive to a good product.

Edit : Did some checking and it seems it works well if you're using good soil and such.

Reason I ask is I'm always interested in the economics of drugs. Specifically, how much would an acre of pot produce if done commercially, additionally how much would 100ac produce.

From a bit of checking, it would produce about $150m to $350m worth of product depending on how you did things (Spacing, soil quality, ect). 100ac of land in my area would run about $500k.

It wouldn't take too much acreage, run efficiently to make pot completely worthless and flood the market with cheap pot. So much so that all the hard drugs, the ones that cause the vast majority of the crime in the US would be displaced with cheap pot.
