HasOffers

What youll see is a bunch of advertisers get crap traffic, but how will they get offers? all these new networks will just broker them, probably from someone who already brokered them from another network. These new networks will be amazed at the number of sign ups they get in the first week and just approved everyone (these signups are 101% bots) the new network will start sending traffic, they will see some money, then after a month the advertiser will catch it, and not pay for any of the traffic from that network, the broker who brokered it, and anyone who ran the offer with the original network, collateral damage

ya this is exactly the problem and if they try to do something stupid like pay weekly to all publishers or something to attract members then its even worse cause they lose shitloads. Bottom line is that a few of these networks will last more than a month.

yep, you guessed it. we're just trying to steal publisher data.
well we got our answer, no more questions now. after this well thought out, professionally written post with lots of hard facts and tons of information to back up the statement, i am fully confident they will not steal data.

so the advertiser has no idea that your shitty "network" even exists. how can you expect to be paid by a company that you have no relationship with whatsoever?

are they giving "networks" the information and tools to deal with fraudulent publishers and all the headaches that go along with running a network? if not, the way they are marketing hasoffers is highly irresponsible.

This tool is being marketed exactly the same way that ShiftCode was marketed to noobs looking to start incentive sites. Cheap to get in, easy to setup, but since the buyers had no real knowledge of IM, they were serious targets for fraud. The eventual result of ShiftCode was the near destruction of the incentive model. Say what you want about incentive traffic, but before ShiftCode came around, there were many good incentive sites delivering reasonable quality leads to merchants. After ShiftCode though, you might as well ask merchants if you can take a dump in their mouths instead of asking them if they want incentive traffic. You'll get a better answer.

While I obviously don't expect HasOffers to do the same to networks that ShiftCode did to incentive sites, I think this tool will have a negative impact on CPA marketing. With the bar so low, there will be many networks opened up by people that can't even make a buck as publishers. This will lead to many bad experiences and a hit on the overall reps of networks. As networks, we already have to fight through the shit caused by existing fly-by-night outfits. I'd hate to see even more of these nth tier networks come along and make it worse on us.

I think the best solution here would be for all existing networks to refuse to broker their offers to these networks that come out of nowhere. I realize that's a bit of a pipe dream as there are many third and fourth tier networks that are salivating at the chance to have their already rebrokered offers up on these net networks.

Hasoffers doesn't even capture IP address from affiliates signing up (or at least doesn't show it to the free accounts) - That's a good start in fighting fraud, and something that simple is left out? Not sure if I'm a fan of their interface, but that might just be because I haven't used it before.

At the end of the day, HO will get business regardless of how many people are against it. People will sign up and try it out. Per what MaxSteve said, it is best if people don't broker out offers to a bunch of newbie networks that don't understand how to operate a network correctly or what is involved. This of course as he has already indicated, is probably not going to happen. There will be networks that will be willing to broker out offers and networks that will unknowingly be brokering out offers. Their business model isn't going to die.

You were supposed to give me a demo the other day but were too busy. However my first question to you, before any demo, was going to be "what's in this for you?"

How can you give away a million impressions for free (which could amount to 100s of millions across multiple accounts) and what do you have to gain from this?

oops, zac johnson's post still shows up in RSS feeds.
A decade ago it was quite a task to start your own affiliate network. First you needed a business model, probably a full staff and most importantly, your own network platform. Then DirectTrack became available, and everyone under the sun was creating their own network…. this time, all you needed was around $10,000! Now lets leap ahead to day. The latest in affiliate network platforms is now alive and well at hasoffers.com. Said to have “everything directtrack offers, and more“… and more importantly, it won’t cost you several thousands of dollars in the process.

Why you should start an affiliate network?
This post is really going to swing in importance for a lot of people… you are either looking to potentially have your own network, or not at all. A few reasons why you would want a network, is because you are currently running a few sites and offers of your own. Instead of brokering them out to affiliate networks, and having to pay a 30% increase on all leads, you could bring all of the offers in house and save money, while building up a valuable network and affiliate base. Another reason why you might want to start a network, is simply because you can do it better. It’s not just about having your own offers, but the ability to get the highest rates, treat your affiliates right and getting them to succeed. Not all networks are created equally… can you do better?

What does the HasOffers Affiliate Network Platform look like?
Honestly, the best way to see this network platform in action, is to see the major network that is using it to generate thousands of leads per month. I previously wrote up a review on Tatto Media, and how awesome everyone was at the company on getting me setup as an affiliate. This whole network is run off the HasOffers platform. Sign up as an affiliate to see full stats tracking, charts, demographics, creatives and everything else within the network. It really is a slick looking setup and the back end management options are amazing for easily running an affiliate network without having to a read through a ton of tutorials. For those interested in training and a run through on how to run the system, these options are also available.

What is going to cost to run my own network?
As mentioned earlier, with many other options, it will cost you an arm and leg to run your own network. HasOffers has an ad network platform that works for almost anyone. The most appealing version is the “Basic”, which is free… but the “Pro” version, at only $99 a month, is where you will look very professional. For anyone just starting out and thinking about starting their own network… but still hesitant, setup a free “basic” version and see how it goes. Once you are ready for the big time, move up to Pro (for your own domain name for the network, and url tracking) or Enterprise, which will cover you for some massive click volume. What’s the difference between the three options? Mainly the size of click traffic you are pushing through the network. will determine the right version and pricing for your network. A full detailed chart is shown below.

Latest Additions to HasOffers Network Platform!
In a continuing effort to make the Hasoffers platform one of the best around, just today they implemented even more improvements to the network, which include:

- New look and feel for the stat reports. Much more user friendly.
- Advertisers have the ability to manage their own offers now
- Option to allow offers to convert multiple times

With the addition of these latest features, you can better manage any existing and new offers on the network. Everything about the hasoffers platform was built so it’s easily and fully customizable to your current web site and branding. You are not limited to using outside urls, or color schemes that just don’t fit. A full run down of all updates can be found on the news.hasoffers.com site.

I felt a tingling when ppc.bz cited this thread.

hasoffers has worked great for us on shoemoneyoffers.com but we are only including our own offers... shirts, conferences, books, tools, whatever.

We only have about 2,000 affiliates and detecting fraud is not really rocketscience...

Its funny though how some of the network people in this thread already asked us to put there offers in are now bashing it =P

I am going to use has offers in next few days. I am starting up but have exclusive offers. Lets see how it goes.

affiliate marketing networks are like banks, they're nothing without their reputation. people won't bother with them if they're not certain they'll be paid, at least with DT networks you know they've some capital

I can has offers?
