That also happen to me. I also got flash back type shit randomly the first year I stopped. I would be working or whatever and for like 10-20 seconds I would revert back as if I was actually rolling...weird as fuck. Other than my memory and a slight dulling of my personality though, I seem to be fine.
Also, I don't think I was ever addicted. I kept upping my doses and shit, doing it 7 days a week, even in the daytime eventually. At some point it just became an overall shit experience. I would take it, and rage instead of act like a happy faggot and the overall experience just became shit so I quit. I did it once like 3 years ago I think, wasn't too bad but not good enough to have any interest in doing it again. I'd probably take some pure MDMA if I came across it, but other than that fuck it.
Tried it as a teen, I hated the getting off effect. Its like you want more or something is missing. I cant imagine it having a long term effect for a casual user.

When I was around 18 I was a bit of a pill monster. I remember the nights at Gatecrasher with Armin in his young days, Paul Van Dyke etc. I would usually get through 10 or so in a night for this. There was a time when I'd have several on a Friday and then several on the next night and this went on for months. These days I just tend to stick with beer, the gear around here is filled with all sorts of crap anyway. Defo had some excellent nights on it and getting laid was always fun when mashed. If it became legalised and I knew what I was taking then I would do it again, but if not then not too bothered. You can have a good enough time just drinking. Maybe it was just a phase as well.

I've done E four times, and the first was definitely the best. I'm not sure if it was because the quality of the pills was the best (i suspect so) or if it's because of the tolerance you build up. The first time, I took 2 pills and went on this ride...
probably the best experience I ever had in my entire life. It didn't spin too fast, so I could look around and keep a level head without getting nauseous. True Ecstasy.
