Having a family life VS Dan Bilzerian life

Currently living the Dan Bilzerian life. Minus the girls, 99% of the money, 90% of the guns and the parties. Still better than family life.
Damn, I would love to see those titties bounce when she swings the racket but why is she playing table tennis in high heels? 2/10 would push over the edge
Just reading another book from Tolle and I think it really doesn't matter much if you got a family or you spend your life on drugs ....Your life generaly is so small and so fast that there is no difference actualy :2twocents:
Unless you're facially unattractive there doesn't seem to be a whole lot to the guy's public-facing life that can't be obtained at a relatively low cost.

In the minds of the masses, perception = reality.
You can easily (easily!) recreate this lifestyle by spending maybe a couple K per month and if you're smart with how you present yourself and in encouraging sharing of your photos before long you'll be a "celebrity" for doing nothing more than taking pictures with rented firearms, rented vehicles and rented women.

Less superficial shit but complete freedom.. no alarm clocks, no family, no bullsh1t. Wake up by the beach, relax, chill, talk to girls, etc.

Hmh well I don't think so. Try to see a bigger picture once you grow a little bit and read some books by Eckhart Tolle - he can explain better then me (can recommed "The power of now").
You think your life (lets say 80 years on this planet) means something? Its such a small part of the history that it really means nothing. 40 000 000 years back we got T-rex to rule here ....we are here to rule for few soconds only my friend

This is almost as fucking stupid as your original post. So based on your logic, we shouldn't do anything with our lives since it they typically only last 80 years and the earth has been here for 40 million years?
Due respect to Unarmed Gunman & OrganicOne, both of whom I follow and like, Nydahl's perspective has some merit.
I think what he's saying is that in the context of time & size, all gets reduced to the irrelevant. Both of you are sharp enough to have gathered that point.
But most people in this world do exactly the opposite -- they take the big picture of themselves (which matters not a tiny iota even outside their family, let alone the state or the country or the universe) and make it all about them... hyper close, hyper now. What you choose is hyper important, and the world awaits on edge in judgment... and while making oneself feel important, that obviously leads to anxiety and tension.
I think what Nydahl was saying was that given everyman's choice of "family life vs. dan bilzerian", what you choose is your choice, and that's irrelevant in the big scheme. Fail for a while, succeed for a while, do what you're gonna do. You're not the everlasting stuff of legend, and even if you were, that's washed away too in short order. It truly doesn't matter.
