headphone suggestions?

I use Beats by Dre studio edition.

the main downside is that it leaks music to the point that those around you know what song you're listening to, but I love the bass and the mid/high/low separation.

Powered by the jack man. None that I know of have batteries in them.

edit: Scratch that, I think Beats by Dre have batteries in them. The build quality on those has been described as "shocking" though, not to mention the exaggerated sound.

Beats Studio are battery powered with noise cancelation, and the build feel is somewhat on the flimsy side although they have not broken on me yet (that doesn't stop me from wondering if they will of course) they do have a new one Beats DJ or something that looks like its a hell of a lot better on the build quality.

Beats Solo is the 180$ ones that don't have batteries, but they don't sound nearly as crisp or strong on the bass.

Ultrasones don’t send audio directly into the ear canal but indirectly like listening to speakers. This makes them a more ear friendly choice due to the reduction in sound pressure. Then again, maybe I’m buying the marketing hype too much.

those are the ones im using! for real they leak like a mother. they are louder than my laptop speakers. you cant hear anyone or anything around you but they can hear the song like you said. rofl. still badass headphones :bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

I got the skullcandy headphones with the battery powered bass enhancer..

All I have to say is wow, amazing sound clarity and extreme bass. These headphones are the type that go over your head, but I can literally sprint with them on and they don't fall off.. on top of that, they are extremely comfortable...

So yeah, I would recommend these.
