Care to share where you got that from? And development of what? And LMAO at hard work in the US of A, most of the shit you use comes from Asia so STFU and stop spewing shit about hard work.
I've got nothing bad to say about Europeans but let me explain.

Europe on the whole is about 20 years behind the United States in terms to economic development. Certain sectors you are ahead of us in such as public transportation, but on the whole Europe these days is about as technologically advanced and developed as America was back in the 90s. And yes, I understand, certain parts of Germany, England, and some Nordic countries are just as advanced as the United States is, but on the average, Europe lags behind.

And Americans work harder than Europeans, we have a different mindset. Americans make their job their life and dedicate themselves to it, working on average many more hours than a European. But Europeans, at least the ones I've talked to, consider their job as just something they do because they have to and value their social life and vacations more than their job. Because of this, Europeans on average work less and are less efficient than American counterparts. Beside Germany, I don't see any European country being cutting edge or on top of their industry. When was the last time a European country broke ground in innovation on something? I don't know.

And what does this have to do with Chinese goods? You trollin bro?

Ok, I am NOT getting into this thing about "x country's better than y country", because frankly, I couldn't give two shits.

But, I just wanted to defend Europe:

$1,250 for an epidural which last time took the DR literally 10 mins to administer...

So because it only took the Anesthesiologist 10 minutes to administer, you think his time is worth what? $20???
That doctor spent 4 years in undergrad, 4 years in medical school, and 4 years in residency, and at least $130,000 in tuition in order to learn how to safely administer your epidural. He didn't have a life for 12 years because he was studying his ass of all day and all night so that you could eventually have a more comfortable delivery.

That doctor stuck a needle in your spine for fuck;s sake. He had to calculate exactly how much anesthesia your body can tolerate according to your height, weight, age, etc. He has to know exactly where to place the needle. One small error and you could have been seriously injured and then you would have complained that he didn't know what he was doing and sued his ass.

can you do some Keyword Research Work for me? Just send me a bill. Maybe I'll pay it.

I got a letter in the mail today saying I owed 450 dollars for some doctors appointment I had a year ago. I was like WTF I am not paying this shit.

Fuck this country and it's health care

Well its $5 to draw your blood, and $90 to know what to do with it. You could go to mexico if you want cheaper healthcare
Why the fuck would they need to draw his blood to check his blood pressure? And why would you need a doctor to do that when all you need is some $20 BP kit, and google for instructions.

.
This is bullshit. Doctors are no more compassionate than anyone else. And this justification contradicts your capitalist position that doctors can charge whatever the hell they want ("must be rewarded" or however you phrase it).

Bottom line: Doctors sell a controlled & valuable service/product, like cocaine dealers, they can charge exorbitant prices as they please. You just have to deal with this. Crying about whether it's right or wrong is for suckers.

I dont understand why its so expensive to get care these days.
Its not like doctors treat the cause, they prescribe drugs and be gone... Why they need 12 years of schooling for this, is beyond me.

Memorization so that they can diagnose and prescribe shit without needing to google stuff each time. Also experience. A car or a dog needs so much expertise to repair, at least a few humans are far more valuable.

Like the rest of the population, the majority of doctors are not geniuses. Their intellect & grasping power is limited, and they need to be damn sure they won't fuck things up on a live body before being let lose.

Surgery is srs bizness too.

And they do "treat the cause" WTF

More like "mask the cause"

But i'm not bitching. I love it here. With a good healthy life style, we would need less doctors. It starts with us. Plus we shouldnt be running to the emergency room for with flu.
Worst memory of my childhood a drunk Russian dentist pulling my teeth without novocaine (you gotta love that caine) Okay he wasnt drunk, but I heard stories.

It's all changed now. Everything is just fine with dentists at least. My mother recently paid for new tooth of very advanced material (I even forgot how it calls) only $140 (and it's considered pretty costly). I wouldn't even ask what it will cost in US. Dentist said she sees more americans lately.

Grandfather (when he was alive, god bless him) broke ferum too, no way I could afford $150k or even $8k that time with some insurance. Medication was along like half-year and all in all was like $1500 for all that time.

Good to know it's possible to buy blood pressure meater for $50.

lol @ bluaffiliate, just because you don't know mean it doesnt exist.

Shut the fuck up. Epidural administration wouldn't account for five percent of his training in terms of time, effort and tuition. Making it sound as if 12 years and 130k in tuition all went for epidural.

I agree 100%. When people when me to do any kind of contracting work for them and I tell them my hourly rate most of the time they want to argue the price with me. My standard response is you're not paying X amount for the time I'm spending now you're paying it for the years it took to learn.

I also just paid 2k for one and worth every penny. The entire process ended up costing me around $10k in cash (no insurance) and I honestly think that's a reasonable price to have a child delivered in a safe and sanitary hospitable staffed with competent doctors and nurses.

You're an idiot.
Do you think doctors don't have costs that they have to cover?

The cost for medical malpractice insurance in Illinois for an OB/GYN that was insured by Medical Protective in 2008 cost the physician $127,083 if they practiced in Cook County (where Chicago is located).

non-surgical, general pediatrics is one of the lowest risk specialties. Pediatricians who do NO SURGERY AT ALL, in NY, can expect to pay somewhere between $25,000 and $125,000 a year for medical malpractice, depending on a variety of factors including but not limited to the length of the tail coverage, the policy limit, prior claims, hours worked, and the hospitals they have admitting priveliges with.
