so i just got off the chatt with host gator
it went somthing like this ( sorry i could copy and paste i closed the window :) )

i contact them because i upgrade my server since my BW is not enough

anyways the guy is telling me that i should move from that to shared hosting

i would get the unlimited crap and what not ,
so i told them i have this many Pageviews a month and average KB per page and all the other shits and giggles

he stil insist on moving me to shared hosting

is it me or i just got mindfucked by this guy ( starting to believe i should move back to newbie section )

has this happened to anyone here before?.

Sounds like you talked to a typical HG employee. They're mostly retarded. If it can't be fixed by rebooting the server or brainless clicking in cpanel you'll be screwed, because they won't be able to help you. You're best bet is to move to a hosting company that employees people that have an IQ above the average McDonalds worker.

But honestly, I had my fun with HostGator in the past and experienced similarly retarded support.
 
He has access to your logs right, so maybe he see your real stats and understand whats really going on and was just trying to save you some money.

Hostgator sucks, those guys gave me payment trouble like i never experience before !

Who let Eskimos wife out of the basement? On hostgator, I have never really had any trouble with them. Outside of them not wanted to upgrade me to PHP 5.3 for the latest ION cube to be compatible with a script I needed. Bluehost moved me to a new server in like an hour and went SMOOTH. Not saying they are any better.

oh fucking ioncube...I remember I had that problem with them too...fucking aggravating.

Yeah. So fucking silly, took me like 2 weeks to get it working, 1 hour to set it up with a different host. Fuckety fuck.
