Gentlemen,

I am looking for hotels for ASW and prices range from ridiculously expensive to ridiculously cheap. Ideally, I'd like to pay no more than $1,500 for room and flight. Is it possible to get something good on the strip for that price?

Recommendations? Thanks in advance.

If there are still rooms at Caesar's then I would stay there just for the convenience. It's still a pretty nice hotel. But the Wynn in my opinion is by far the best on the strip (and still pretty close by).

I'm staying at Planet Hollywood for a few days during the conference. I chose that hotel because of the price, location (across from ceasars), and because when I stayed there when it was Aladdin it was actually pretty nice.

Before the conference I'm staying at the Palms because there's good bars and clubs there and the crowd is generally much younger.

The Monte Carlo is decent and reasonably priced.

Im not a stuck up and fancy guy by any means but i think that place is a dump....and thats coming from probably the only person on this board who would admit to staying at the old strip on occasion

go downtown, stay at Fitzgerald's, you'll thank me later.

edit: even their website is low-rent, I just got a pop-under offering me a 20 rock and a blowjob, it's just like the real Fitz!

They redid the El a few years ago, actually that whole part of East Fremont Street is kind of hip now.

edit: or they think it is. I left the 702 a year ago, I don't know what's up now.
