Cant believe there is no thread on this yet. I thought they brought their game and improved on last season. Still not sure about the ending. Some serious foreshadowing? Will everyone be shocked next season with the candidate from nowhere? A candidate that everyone loves more than Frank?

I thought she was going to ask him to be VP, but now it makes sense to go up against him directly. I also think they went too global too quickly with this season - but in the end they leveled it off perfectly.

I was also waiting for a death - cause it wouldn't be House of Cards without one, but I think they did it lazily, they could have had her in more episodes first.

Frank is very good at making enemies out of his allies.

It seems like it would be too late in the election cycle for Claire to run against him, unless maybe she switched parties. In the earlier episodes, it sounded like the whole plan since the beginning was for her to be President.

Could have used some more guy-on-guy action this season though.

Don't worry, gay Hollywood had their fun. In every other episode in the series Claire and Frank are basically psychopaths to everyone else and ambition alone rules them. But when it came to the gay guy in Russia she all of a sudden grew a heart and publicly humiliated the Russian pres ruining political goals for her Hubby and herself over this very very important issue of gay rights.

It's so out of character it's ridiculous.

As far as her running against him, I think jryan is probably right that it's too late. But also she's really so under-qualified i'd be amazed if even these writers would write something so lame.

One of the cool things about this show is how Frank is definitely a psychopathic villain but they make you route for him anyway. It makes me think that all it takes for a person to route for someone in a story is that they are the main character - which is interesting.

I thought season 3 was a total bore. We let it play on and on and we ended up on episode 9 and still nothing was happening. You can basically watch the first and last episode and miss nothing in between. Boring finale and boring season with useless side stories.

Season 3 was definitely the weakest season in my opinion. I was wondering who was going to be made the antagonist in season 3 and Claire definitely fit that role. I for one hope Frank kills her.

Boring? The president pissing on the grave of his dead father is boring? The president spitting in the face of Jesus H. Christ is boring? I don't know; they pushed some boundaries in this season.

You guys are way to harsh. When season 1 came out they broke all the rules and gave the world a smash hit. It's really, really fucking hard to do that more than once. With that, I will agree that some of the side stories where pretty dumb. IMHO I thought season 3 was better than season 2. Either way its still better than any other show out there right now.

I liked Doug's story more than Frank and Claire. Also motherfuckin Freddy.

Season 3 is better than 2, but 1 is the best for time being, Claire needs double penetration.

"Francis, Can I be the ambassador of your cock?" wish Claire would have said that lol

Banshee is much better than House of Cards, especially the stuff from the last few weeks.

I think Season 3 was good quality, but the scandal was not as good as Season 1 or Season 2. Lack of prostitutes, drugs, people getting pushed in front of subway train, etc. was not as exciting. Loved Doug.

I binged watched all 13 episodes in 1 day. Good times.

I have tried to get into Banshee, because all of the good things I have heard about the show, but the main character and all of the crap he does is so over the top, outrageous, and unbelievable that I have had trouble finishing the first season. If the show took itself less seriously, I might have been able to get past season one...

It sounds like the show does get better. So, I might just slug through the rest of season one to learn how season two pans out.

It gets better when a certain family starts getting less screen time and Hood stops thinking he needs to fuck every girl that looks at him more than 2 seconds.

I thought season 3 was great, but not as good as season 1 was. They'll probably never capture that again, but I don't care.

Wonder what claire splitting will effect during the election
