I have many successful customers. Unfortunately almost none of them submit success stories, let alone before and after photos.

What methods can I use to get success stories for my weight loss program?

Thanks BarMan, I figured that was an ok way to do it. Unfortunately my deliverability sucks. All my emails to yahoo go to the junk box.

Aeiouy: I run an online weight loss program to help people learn to use diet pills as tools for permanent weight loss... as opposed to losing a lot and then gaining it back when they stop taking the pills.

Apple D: I've tried that, but unfortunately they almost never respond. Too shy?? Well... since nobody else has any ideas, I've been brainstorming and here's what I've come up with so far:

I.Run a Contest
a.Contest types
i.Best success story wins
ii.10lbs in 1 month = 2nd prize
iii.15lbs in 1 month = 1st prize
iv.Beat the plateau contest

b.Prizes:
i.Cash prize
ii.Tangible products relevant to your customers.

II.Submission page
a.Very easy, quick for user
b.Upload before and after photos
c.Name, stats, location, story, and how the program helped you.

III.Email Broadcast
a.Ask customers to submit their success stories on the submission page.

Anybody get any other ideas from this?

Are you blasting your e-mails? Maybe try hittin them up one by one and be personal about it. You should get a better response than blasting a general letter to them. I guess it depends on how much time you want to put into though

I think offering some kind of incentive for them to share their story would be a good one. Some people may just not be interested in general, or feel uncomfortable about it.

Best way is to just ask though. I know I had used a program from a company a while back and when I was dealing with a support issue, where the guy was very helpful he just asked me and I said sure, no problem.

Do you get positive feedback on your program? If so, start with just asking those people if you mind if you quote them.

Thanks for the tips, guys. I agree about the incentive. I'll give it another go with PMing members one by one. I'm sure if I have a contest or incentives set up they'll be more likely to bite.

LOL.

Why not ask in the forum?

Or just open a thread / subforum "SUCCESS STORIES - post yours here"
