28 here, But I was born hearing impaired (mild-to-moderate in one ear, and moderate-to-severe in the other ear, and one ear does better on low tones than the other), so the only one I could even notice was 8khz.

Used to play in a rock band too, but I always used rolled-up tissue-paper ear-plugs (the regular kind get dirty, don't seem as good and change texture after washing).
Couldn't stand loud noises. Looks like it paid off.
To people worried about hearing, get a proper hearing test. I found another on the internet and it showed some impairment. Also, some **** on Youtube put out a video designed to blow your speakers, I think, so watch out.

PS: I think there's at least one scam site out there. Or da link to deh sound be broken. Took another hearing test. Showed I couldn't hear 50hz. Looked up '50hz tone' on Google. Found one on another site. Could hear that fine.

I'm 20 and could barely hear the 21kHz.
I have a Samsung LCD tv in my room, and when it is off it makes one of these high frequency sounds. It is so annoying.

I am 17, barely heard 17 ... I always knew that my hearing fucking sucked, atleast my eyes are good.
