What helps me get recharged-

caffeinate + Mindfold + relaxing music + 20 min timer on xnote stop watch to a music video. (Right click, 20 mins, Execute the video file location. Have VNC Installed.)

lots and lots of tea and if that doesn't work then coffee, and i find eating a large dinner late is a bad idea i will always fall asleep and going to the gym helps to perk you up.

Yea man, Have some smart/productive guys on here that are all about health. I think it is crucial to eat good foods. My method isn't great health wise. Although you get a few hours of wind.

-google caffiene nap for my deal, although a few places say 15 minutes max for nap. I tend to shuffle around for 5 minutes or so getting comfortable.

never needed anything... can stay up all night without a problem, dunno how.

I have no problems staying up (hence me posting at 5:00 AM) but I do have problems waking up.

If its a regular day I'll suck it up, but if its something important I'll have an energy drink for breakfast.

Drinking 2-3 scoops per day up to 4 scoops sometimes without working out. Sometimes 5-10 beers mixed with it. I remember a couple nights drinking 2 Four Lokos with 2 or 3 scoops of jacked its fun until your heart starts racing while you're sitting still at your computer. This went on for 7 months until I had a huge anxiety attack and felt like I was going to die because my heart was beating so quick. Now Ive been caffeine and alcohol free for 6 months. I feel a lot better now!!!!!!!!!

Waking up has to become a habit for it to get easier.

Meaning you need to make a conscious decision about when you'll be waking up and implement it. For implementation to be successful you need to form a habit and habits get formed in about 20-30 days of repetition.

I've done a lot of experimentation with waking up early and this is the best way to do it for me.

Also, when I was in the army waking up at 5am every day (with periods of only 4-5 hours of sleep per day) for 4 months taught me you need to get up aggressively. Because no matter how tired you are, once you get up, wash your face and teeth you'll be 100% awake and ready to work. It's key is to snap yourself fast from that tired sleepy state.

As for staying awake... I've never had problems with that either. Waking up was an issue till I understood how to approach it correctly.

Do you mean, how do you force your body to stay awake when it really needs to sleep? If so, you must be mad. This is a very short-run approach which will always have diminishing returns. Best approach is to get into a regular sleep pattern, 7 - 8 hours per night, eat decent food, take exercise, drink plenty of water, take a day off per week.

I quote every single word.
I have experienced the same thing about the habit to wake up early and 30 days is the time to get a good habit.

I have had the same reaction during my months in the army.

better question: how do you find the time to want to sleep when there's so much money to be made on these here internets, and so few hours each day?
