How does the +rep system work?

It looks like the boxes are the same on a lot of people. And when you move your mouse over them, it always says 'this reputation is above repute'.

Do you get a point for every '+rep'? Where do you see the point totals?

It's not really a big deal, I'm just bored and wondering why everybody's reputation looks the same.
 


If you have a full rep bar, it just means your in good standing, IMHO. You can see your rep total points and individual reps with comments by going to your 'User CP'.
 
Click user cp and look for this "Latest Reputation Received" right across from it is how many points you got.

I'm only at 2147483647

Rep system is usually used in only 2 instances.

1) You give positive rep to those that post boobs.
2) You receive negative rep when you keep it real in some ebook thread and the op thinks the rep system has any other use besides #1
