Thanks crazyfish. With 16k uniques per month, you should be making some decent cash (depending on a few variables of course).

Is the site dedicated to one celeb, or many celebrities? Big site/small site? Are you currently pushing any porn offers?

Without seeing your site, it's almost impossible to give any real targeted advice.

I would recommend Juicy Bucks if you're not already using them - as stated in an earlier post, I am getting around a 1:200 conversion at the moment. If you could get a similar conversion rate with JuicyBucks, that's around $3000 a month for traffic like yours!

It's a gallery site for many celebs. I've tried a whole bunch of different offers but nothing has worked too well. The best perfoming ads have been adbrite and adult friend finder which is pretty sad. I PMed you the site, hope you don't mind.

I hope this post can inspire some newb's to stop reading and start doing.

You can see how easy it is to pick up on a niche, and even though this 'niche product' only lasted a few days, I'm still seeing the benfits of that early Sunday Morning in 2007.

And since then, I've found a number of other niches that enable me to setup 'set and forget' websites that I keep getting paid for every single month. If you look closely enough, the opportunites are there, regardless of how 'saturated' the market is!

So What are you waiting for? Get Cracking...

First rate post. Excellent. Loved the video also :bigear:. Ok, back to work as you suggested. Thanks again.

Thanks to everyone who's commented on the post and sent me PM's etc...

I've had a few questions - I'm not a very good writer, but I'll try and explain my general answer to all of these questions as simply as possible.

So a few guys contacted me saying they have xx,xxx visitors a month to an adult site, but get shit click through and conversion rates.

Something I see continuously in affiliate marketing is people assuming you need thousands of visitors to your sites every month to make good money - this is completely untrue.

Some of my sites get thousands of hits per month, and do crap revenue. Others, such as the Keeley show case mentioned above, get really low traffic numbers, but conversion rates are high and revenue is steady.

Basically, the secret to affiliate marketing is this:

MATCH THE RIGHT OFFER TO THE RIGHT CONSUMER (AT THE RIGHT TIME)

This is all you need to know. If you forget everything else you've ever read, just keep this in mind. Giving the customer what they want, when they want it is a one way road to success!

This is, of course, how Google became the comapny they are today - give the user what they want, when they search for it.

What we see too much of with affiliate sites is people developing sites such as specialist-blue-widgets.com, then running ads for random red widgets and a couple of yellow widgets. Make sure when you setup your site your ads are highly focused - actually targeted to your user.

And, of course, don't forget to run different ads with different offers and see what converts. If you have a good sticky site, it's especially important to run different ads - if a user comes by 3 or 4 times to your site and doesn't click your ads, why would they do so when they come back next time? Give them something new to look at - different banner ads - not the same shit you've been running since 2006 when you set the site up.

If anyone wants to chat about this, feel free to post here or PM me.

I can spend hours and hours finding the right offers for my sites, but once you've spent the time finding the right offers and ads, it can pay off handsomely.

Thanks for an excellent post. I'm not brave enough to try adult stuff but I love reading informative step-by-step posts that show how people succesfully make money. Well done & thanks for the info.

LOL my host pulled my site even though I didn't *really* have adult content on it... Ok maybe underboob but her nipples were covered with a black bar. Damn you medialayer.

Awesome post. I'm a total noob and this gave me some good perspective on what to do in the future. Thanks!

Huh. Cool. I know there's money in it- but it just seems like there's a lot of competition as well. Your approach of going thru the forums makes a lot of sense.

Suddenly I am craving a huge glass of milk. It's the weirdest thing.
