I'm tracking my keywords, the keywords that do convert you obviously keep and watch the conversion rate. What about keywords that don't convert, how many clicks do you give them until you delete them?

I shoot to spend as much as 1 sale makes. If I don't get a sale within that budget then I probably won't keep it unless I feel it will perform.

Yeah, that's what I usually do, but this particular campaign I'm getting a lot of traffic and my payout is low, so I'm not even breaking even. Although I think if I can delete non converting keywords, I might be able to make something from this.

There are about 2000 keywords, like you said about "eventually performing" that's what I'm confused about and don't know if I should delete them right away if they don't convert after 1 click. Due to their being 2000 keywords, I don't think I can really afford to keep a keyword after 1 click if it doesn't convert. I guess I can go through the entire campaign and just turn off non-converting keywords and just keep tweaking like this and just see what happens?

I like the 100 click rule, but the payout for this is only $1.65, this is going to take forever, I have about 2K keywords, and my min. bid $.10

It looks like the conversions I've gotten so far are from keywords that are getting all the traffic, but they're getting too much traffic and not enough converions.

Maybe I should pause all the keywords getting all this traffic and stay with the keywords that are getting less traffic, and maybe they'll get conversions here and there.

I think I should just divide the keywords up into smaller campaigns. Instead of having a 1000 keywords each in 2 ad groups, divide them into ad groups of 200 keywords of 10 adgroups, or 20/100. Then whichever ad group performs results, focus on that, and turn off the rest. It will be easier to see what's performing well per ad group instead of per keyword in this case, I think.

Having all these keywords in the same ad group is bringing too much traffic and taking longer to find out which keywords aren't performing and which are at an acceptable conversion rate.
