How many of you guys have a CCW (Concealed Cary Permit)

I dont have a CCW in any state. I dont even own a firearm....period. But why the fuck are you doling out advice and acting like you know what the fuck you're talking about when you can't even demonstrate proper handling of a weapon?

The day I worry more about the springs in my mag than your chewed off stump touching a drawn trigger is a cold day in hell.

He sure as hell looks like he knows how to pull it, and damn fast at that. :-)

PS: My uncle got shot by his idiot friend doing just that with a loaded gun. He took out the Bullet from the Barrel chamber, and pulled the trigger as a Joke. he didn't know that it is the bullet in the next chamber that gets the hammer.

Was fucked up. Uncle got disabled for life. Spine got hit. His friend went crazy.

I live in the oh so wonderful police state of California, where you can't have a fucking dam thing. however, I do have a ccw in arizona (but as of late last year, ccw is no longer required and you can carry like a free man). So I'm seriously contemplating moving there since I'm in love with all my guns.

This is the current, Browning 9mm older gun but great for shooting and reliable.

CCW in MA. After the deep-anal inspection to get my license earlier this year, still haven't bought a gun yet. I've been looking at a Wather PPS or Kehr PM9.

The new sigs have a slimmer grip profile which is nice if you have smaller hands :)

Also-check out the new Walther PPQ. It's the lovechild of an H&K P30 & a Glock.

Kahr just came out with the MA compliant PM9's not too long ago. Was sort of an embarrassment for Kahr's employees not to be able to carry their own guns due to the MA laws.

If you get one though, have Cylinder and Slide or similar do some work to it for reliability reasons :)

Look into Maryland if you think CA is bad, heh.

Too many cowboy films watched as children.

True.

Plus a news industry that is dedicated to scaring the shit out of you. "If it bleeds it leads."

That said...

There are areas of town where being well off, white, and alone makes you a target.

Better have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.

I have a concealed weapons liscensce but barely ever carry the Glock on me....not unless im going somewhere out of the normal...than im strapped...Also have a Mossberg for in home protection.

Live in Florida so laws are lax on guns.

what the fuck is going wrong in the US that you all have to carry guns while walking on the street?

Its not that things are going wrong here, but every once in a while shit happens. The freedom to keep and bear arms is a privilege we have enjoyed for hundreds of years because our founding fathers decided it was a good idea to give its citizens "options'

I still think it's crazy but I'm sure like anything else there are pros and cons to it.

<--- In California. Can't carry a BB gun without being hassled by the cops. I'll keep something in my truck when I'm traveling to an area I'm not familiar with. Thinking about getting a shotgun for the house, just not sure which one to get.
