Hey everyone,

I am going to be dad in about few days from now.
My wife has high Blood Pressure so my doc says she needs to have surgery..She staying in hospital for a week now.

Anyways how many of you here have kids? So how does it feel like to be one. As this would be my first baby, I am totally nervous. I think I am still kid to have my own kid..

Cograts on the baby. You ask how does it feel? There is a saying that sums it up perfect for me. "A man doesn't know true love, until he has his first child" Have fun and enjoy every second of it

3 yr old son and dmnEPC said, you need to experience it to feel the love. Enjoy man! You will now have to give up on so many things now. I virtually stopped gaming after my son was born, wow been 3 yrs and i lost touch now

My youngest is still in diapers and my oldest starts college in the fall.

On the plus side, we finally figured out what was causing it ...

I have 2.
6 year old girl and 3 yr old boy.

Biggest mistake i've made in my life.
Hehe just kidding.

I have 1 boy and 1 girl.
Remember to take video / photos every 3 months for your baby, so when he/she 6 years, you won't lose that memory. time goes by damn fast.

Got a 4 yr old girl, turning 5 next week. Definitely the best thing ever! It's really unexplainable how much it will change your life.

As mentioned above, take all the pictures and video you can. Everybody says that times flies by, but it never seems more true until you experience it for yourself.

You will be fine. First you realize that your child is more important than your own self. Then you don't know how you can live without them. They bring a lot of joy. But it is very hard work very worth it though.

1 Boy 1 year old

3 girls

My first reaction was... Holy crap - this thing looks blue like an alien! Am I in a episode of V???? Then she started screaming and turning into the correct color... phew...

They towled her off, weighed her etc, and when she heard my voice laying under the red light, she turned her head and stretched out her litte hand. Her hand barely fit around my pinkie... the moment she grabbed it - something magical happened.

It's a shit load of work and NOBODY can really prepare you for this, but wait for the moment she babbles 'Daddy' for the first time... or something that REMOTELY sounds like it... :)

Got two. What's been interesting to me is being in a family with more than one kid (I'm only child) The cliches are true. We really let the baby (almost 3 now) pretty much get away with murder. And we're happy to spoil him. The oldest (9) is almost treated like an adult and we expect him to act like one.
