How many of you here have kids?

Congrats, 2 here - girl is 5, son is 2... Don't really like when the kids are very little, it is kind of hard, especially with the first one, but gets a lot easier and more fun with time. Expect a lot of crying in the middle of the night for the first year or so, poopy diapers, a lot of other extra work...
 


To this day I'm celebrating the day I had to change my LAST diaper!

Oh... and I don't miss the whole teething thing...

I've got one 9 year old daughter who's the love of my life. Having kids is the best and most worthwhile thing you'll ever do. No question. And making money via IM as opposed to some 'job' 'out there' is also the best decision. There's nothing like have lots of time and flexibility when you've got kids. They thrive if they have YOU, not THINGS.
 
1 boy of 8 months.

Despite the 3 month colics, nights of no sleep, constant worries, and all the other not so nice stuff,.... the best thing that ever happened in my life.

I will be also a dad for the first time, my wife is pregrant for 6 months right now.
Yeah but I always make my wife and baby at safe.
 
Congrats on the impending parenthood. You'll get the hang of things pretty quickly, out of necessity more than anything. One day you're doing whatever the fuck you want, the next day you have someone's life in your hands. It's crazy, but I think it's a lot of fun too.

We have a 16 month old girl and a boy due at the end of July.

No kids here (I am only 22 though!) In some ways really looking forward to the day I do take this step but it probably wont be for another 8-10 years =p

I Have become a father now

On Monday, My Wife gave birth to beautiful daughter

She is in hospital right now. She had a surgery and have to rest for couple of days. Both the baby and mom is doing fine.

Things are quite hard to manage in the hospital. The feeling was quite extraordinary as I flashed back through my past life when I hold her for the first time and I thought of the future.. everything.. you know, it was quite hypnotic.

This is our first child. Life will never be the same again. The lane has changed and so has the game. Yesterday I was a child, now I am a father to my child. Right now, my mind is completely paused..... its feel like am I awakening now or maybe going down to deeper in dream...

Not yet. I'm only 24, and the idea of commitment to a wife and the responsibility of taking care of a child scares me right now.
 
one girl... independence day baby 2 years old, love her to pieces and just want her to be better than me, but we all want our kids to be better and to do more than we ever did too so I'm sure I'm not saying anything out of the box here...

For me when they're really young they're ok but as my 19 mo old gets older he gets more and more fun all the time.

Kids are awesome you're going to have an amazing time. :)
