My thoughts exactly. I've always laughed at those sales videos with dudes sitting in front of 5 huge screens. What kind of business are you running that requires you to have more than one screen open at a time??
One for me.
well when i am doing nothing too serious and just have my laptop - one of them - out on its own i look at my web browser and notice i have like 6 windows open with 10-12 tabs each
so when those are spread out it sure helps know WTF is going on better and if not better keep my train of thought, then at least set one aside but come back to it easier
but i always have photoshop going as i do my own promo graphics and basically just need to pop in there constantly...
then on the pc side i run a lot of apps and bots that need to churn away - scrapers, posters, etc. ubot - so thats what they are usually up to.
I always need at least one monitor for juggling hundreds of articles, text editors jammed with work in progress spun articles or even just spun backlinks anchors etc...
and as unglamorous as it is when possible i like to give at least one display to a spreadsheet, excel or numbers - as i am often exporting KW lists from semrush, secockpit, serpiq etc plus i juggle a lot of articles and build sites from spreadsheets too... so i guess three most important things always open are:
1) firefox (with many tabs and windows)
2) photoshop
3) text editors
4) spreadsheets
