How many tabs do you have open on a regular working day?

I have 15-20 tabs open in one and sometimes, I open 3 Firefox at once and each have 10-15 tabs. My Bookmark gets full with tons of websites every week. I am totally freak out and don't know when will I have time to look and check each bookmark. Tons of info there.

Currently

7 FF
7 Opera
6 Chrome

On startup it's about 24 tabs across all 3 browsers, will swell to 50-100 when I'm crushing, usually start killing/bookmarking shit and run ccleaner a couple times a day tho.

Always signed into 3 diff google accounts FTW!

100% honest question here... why the fuck do you guys need so many tabs open? Seriously, I can't have more than 3-4 open at a time without things feeling cluttered and unorganized. I use bookmarks and have then organized in a very specific way. I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would need so many open tabs...

I can't speak for the 100+ tab guys, but for me it's because I feel they are unfinished business. A bookmark is for coming back to again and again, but if you've got a site like that cappuccino maker you're thinking of buying for a week or three then you don't want to bookmark the page, you want to leave it there as if it were a paper cut-out ad from a magazine that you lay on your desktop IRL.

It sounds like you're too organized to think like this then.

The downside to the way you do it is having too many bookmarks later to go back and find something efficiently.

I've got 12 bookmarks, and yes I imported my bookmarks from my last PC over to this one... There were 10 at the time. ;)

Okay I think this takes the cake, 200 in ONE BROWSER?!?!?? How does that even..
Haha :D

As a 100+ tab guy, I'll give an example of how it gets like that.

I just bought a couple of domains on NamePros. I got the PM with the paypal email, opened a new tab for paypal, paid, went back to Namepros & replied, then browsed a bit more on namepros, got the PM while an interesting thread was up, so opened the PM in a new tab... from there, I opened up Godaddy & my email, to find my customer ID & to wait for an email to come through about the transfer. That's 5 tabs in about 15 minutes, none of which will end up getting closed for a day or so, lol.

When I thought I was going crazy with 30+ tabs, there are those of you who go up to 100+ tabs. That's hella lot and how do you manage to find the correct tab?

Around 5-6! Last week I had 28 tabs open! I noticed it when my firefox crushed :(

It got to the point where I have two computers. Once for domestic work, like coding, graphics, etc. The other is purely internet. Keyword research, network communications, etc.

And that, sir, is why I use Read Later Fast: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/decdfngdidijkdjgbknlnepdljfaepji

lol @ 100 tabs

The worst for me is when I'm coding and I need to look something up. I always open a new tab and don't bother to close it. So after a few hours, there's more than a few tabs open..

Would you mind giving a quick rundown of how your bookmarks are so thoroughly organized? I've reorganized mine so many times over the years, and I'm just never quite satisfied. I find it nearly impossible to categorize them properly thus ending up getting frustrated at some point when I'm no longer sure what sites should go into which folders because there are so many. Usually when that happens, I backup all my bookmarks and start fresh because I can no longer find anything in there and hurts to even look.
