How much do Affiliate Managers make

Yeah really depends on how good they know AM. How good they are at coaching their aff's to profitability. They can make a whole lot of money though. I know I write the checks.

Normally it's a percentage of the networks profits from the leads.

E.G:

Network gets $10 a lead.

Affiliate gets $8 lead.

Affiliate generates $80, therefore the network has $20 profit and the manager could see $1-4 of that.

Depends on the company. When I worked for Allsat the AM made $10/hour and that's it.

Shit, that's little more than minimum wage in Canada List of minimum wages in Canada - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. The AM at my last place of work made £54k anually... note that's pounds. He now works for another company and gets paid even more as a base, plus makes a percentage and target bonuses on top of it. That, and he gets to travel around attending conventions and taking his top earners on paid junkets.

10 bucks an hour... might as well work at McDonald's for that.

I am waiting for that day when I will be able to earn that much.:D BTW- I think their basic earning should be more then $40k.

The responses represent a wide range of affiliate managers - some work for small mom and pops and don't have large sales volume, while others are big retailers and cpa networks.
Shawn, do you have any sort of split out between AMs who work for a merchant directly (e.g. merchants who have their programs in Linkshare, CJ), agencies, and CPA networks?

Thanks!
