How Much Is 10,000 Targeted Blog Links Worth To You?

When it all boils down to it.. it's your decision. You came here asking for advice, and no one is holding back from dishing out the negative and positive aspects, so instead of playing the defensive role, release it, and see what happens. Could be great, but it could also crash and burn, you never know until you try.

But if it were me, this would be more like one of those "it sounded like a great idea at the time" types of things that happen at 3am and then are just unrealistic the next day. I wouldn't do it, but we have different goals to reach, so for all I know, I'm wrong and you can be on to something huge for yourself here.

If you do decide to sell it here though, you MUST disclose that it's a comment spammer, and list the risks, but on any other forum, you could do whatever you like for all I care. And you better not post it in any other forum aside for the Buy Sell Trade area.

It will only be in the buy/sell/trade area I remember my warning awhile back. Your 100% right though, I could sit here all day and explain everything to everyone about it but at the end of the day the only thing thats going to matter is when people begin to test it and come back with their honest opinions about it, that alone will speak for itself.

As for releasing it right now, can't its still not done, I know I should have waited a little longer before starting this thread but was overly curious to see what people thought of it.

I agree with Jon, on paper it sounds fine, but in reality it’s fraught with all sorts of risks and problems. For instance, if you’ve ever done automated comment spamming before, you’d realize only a small percentage stick – irrespective of the actual comments. Also, the evidence is mounting that Google is certainly abiding by its ‘no follow’ rule. Additionally, there is a real risk of site de-indexing and affiliate account suspensions because of comment spamming. (Godaddy are known to have a very strict anti-spam policy!)

And, more importantly, who is your target market? Most experienced BHs already have tools that can do this. I suspect many WHs won’t fully comprehend the risks or will be too scared. Perhaps, BH newbies?

The first people to rate this thing as I've said will be the few who were the original buyers of my SplogPress tool, those people can feel lucky and I'll be encouraging them to rate it based upon their 100% honest opinion.

Awsome, does that include me?
I would definately want to experiment with this on one of my blogs

so instead of playing the defensive role, release it, and see what happens.

I think this is bad advice. You should cover ALL your bases before releasing something with this potential to the public.

soooo true. You gotta find out if there is a huge demand for something like this.

Its simply comment spam. selling 10,000 links that stick for $60 or whatever is a poor ROI on your part. if you cant put up a BH site that pulls in $2 a day using your service, why should these people use it?

All good points the risks are definately very real but in my mind the rewards are greater then the risks, but as I've stated before there is tons of testing to be done before I accept any public testing on it. If I released a tool that got you banned from the search engines that wouldn't have very good aspects on return business.

Bad ROI maybe but it all depends on how you look at it, if you can't put up a blackhat site using my service then your doing something out of the ordinary, look at it this way, its not more of how much addional money you can make with this tool.

No this tool won't make you any money directly, but the tool will help you rank better in the search engines based upon the amount of incoming links, and ranking better can very well make you more money based upon the traffic your bringing in, however the actual amount of money you make with a site is up to you, how well you mentionize it, how well you include all the other aspects in the site, the only goal with this tool is to increase the # of backlinks to your site.

As Brad has said there are things like nofollow links and a vast majority of other things in which needs testing and consideration before you know it works, things like the nofollow links are being addressed, not by trying to change a sites links but by monitoring which backlinks hold weight in google, dependent on which blog its coming from, I've placed a bunch on monitoring code into the script that the end user won't ever see, its code that only me and a few others will have access too, its code that remembers how well a comment stuck on any particular blog, did that backlink show up in google, how long did it take, and a ton of others in which every time the tool is used it becomes that much smarter in knowing which comments/pages/links are most valuable.

Just like to add that, even though there are risks associated with such a service, I think there’s definitely potential too. Recently, Jarred’s trackback-service (Trackback Spider - Home) went live asking for nearly $100 per month and it was a sell out. So, yeah, there's definitely a demand out there - but minimizing the risk to customers will certainly help promote the service.

This aquetis guy is a joker, he can't make money on his own so he's going to try and sell you his spam tools. And leech off the forum. Dude you make me sick, learn to make money first then come up with your own ideas and stop fucking ripping off Eli. P.S. I consider you just another e-book peddler, selling a bunch of shit you can't make money with yourself.

I've changed my mind.. I don't want this being sold to WF members after all. It's a really scammy attempt at just hocking a comment/TB spammer as a service. Silly idea and it seriously won't fly here.

But you will make some serious bank if you sell it to the ebook community people, they will buy anything!

K no problem at all Jon, I respect the rules of the forum, and I'll use my personal blog or other sources to promote the tool. I don't consider your decition bad or anything I'm actually glad that I got it out of the way now instead of just posting in the buy/sell/trade section when its done and be in some shit so thanks for letting me know.

Not trying to peddle from anyone if I was I wouldn't be here talking the way I am I would just be selling the tool without permission and since I don't have permission you will NEVER see this tool available here. I also respect Eli and his work and I'm in no way trying to leech off of him, as I've made clear in the above post for Jon I respect the forum and its rules.
