How the hell do I stop getting my EPN sites slapped like a bitch?

Maybe all these sites you keep hosting on the same shared hosting IP?

Yeah they are. But keep in mind what I said in the original post...I have one ebay site that does just fine and hasn't been slapped. It's almost identical to the others. That's what I can't figure out.

I don't know a hell of a lot about dedicated servers and all that shit. What should I be looking for if I want to run lots of sites and keep myself safe?

Just buy a new shared hosting account for each new EPN site. If they happen to get slapped just don't renew the hosting and try again, costs like $5 for a month of hosting...

Yea, $0.01 for the first month through hostgator.

You talking about "Use SEO URL's?"

it's not as good as a clean redirect but is good enough for me at the moment.

the links look like this:
Code:
http://www.yourdomain.com/auction.php?eb=aHR0cDovL3JvdmVyLmViYXkuY29tL3JvdmVyLzEvNzExLTUzMjAwLTE5MjU1LTAvMT9jYW1waWQ9NTMzNTg1ODczNSZjdXN0b21pZD1jYW5hZGlhbmdvbGQmdG9vbGlkPTEwMDA1Jm1wcmU9aHR0cCUzQSUyRiUyRmNnaS5lYmF5LmNvbSUyRjIwMDgtQ2FuYWRpYW4tR29sZC1NYXBsZS1MZWFmLTk5OTktUHVyZS1Hb2xkLUNvaW4tMW96X1cwUVFpdGVtWjI2MDQzMzE4ODI1MVFRY21kWlZpZXdJdGVtUVFzc1BhZ2VOYW1lWlJTUyUzQUIlM0FTUkNIJTNBVVMlM0ExMDE=

i would want it something like

PHP:
http://yourdomain.com/goto/a3j2kl35kHl3990
with an option to set the "/goto/" name to whatever and I want and so that i could robots.txt block everything in /goto/

the fact that it uses "auction.php" makes it pretty easy to footprint

edit: of course you could write some code to rewrite the "auction.php" links to this /goto/ format and then use htaccess to rewrite it back

You know whats retarded about this, he is talking about doing this on PPC for physical products and the penalty is a google slap. its one thing if google wants to drop your organic rankings because your site is focused on selling stuff, but to hurt you on PPC where you are paying for sponsored ads AND you are providing a likely much superior user experience (by including original content, etc) than the typically found average adwords page (including 'direct linked' advertiser / manufactuer pages), is just terrible.

Google only likes big middlemen, like itself and Amazon, not little middlemen like you.

yeah I wonder if bizrate got their PPC account disabled. ......

I think obama needs to get the hammar break googles knees but declaring that by having a monopoly on search and a monopoly on the advertising network (adsense/content network) that the search arrives at is a monopoly.. .

and btw.. you still cant call it masking because that a completely other technique used to direct link to landing pages.. so think of a new name mkay...

*sigh*

You were the one who wanted to call it either link cloaking or link rewriting and those are already used names mkay.

Smarmy fuck.

The fact is, masking the link is exactly what you're doing so why not just call it that.

Exactly...it's not like I'm offering a bogus, bullshit CPA offer that could be viewed as questionable. Why does Google have a problem with the products not being mine...It's lame.

Well first of all don't use BANS, it's damn near instant slappage from google. Use a wordpress based plugin, add unique content, in your privacy/policy make sure you mention something about ebay cookies and tracking, and keep your sites tightly themed. So make 1 site for game consoles, 1 for mp3 players, 1 for cell phones, 1 for car parts etc and you should have no problems.

PHP:

the site i was looking at has been collecting some dust so the version of phpbay is outdated. i know what you were talking about about now, efeezy. they have changed the encrypted option to "seo urls" and they look like this on another install i have going:

Code:
http://www.yourdomain.com/item-product_name_goes_here_130309365161_US.html

i'm having problems with this phpbay option conflicting with the "seo title tag" plugin. sux.

Go fuck yourself.

Google has a monopoly because it outperforms its competitors. The last thing Obama or any government should ever touch is the internet.

Once they start regulating internet firms for providing the best service, we're fucked. That is how they fuck up medicine, education etc. We want someone to come along and outcompete Google, to take share from them.

The government gets into search, and it will be chinese style SERPs.

*sigh*
because masking is already used

get a new name for it or ....:costumed-smiley-087
mkay

so there can be a difference between masking domains and masking links. There is certainly a difference between redirecting domains and redirecting links.

Do many people even use iframes? I've had my cookies lost by trying that. I'm assuming thats how godaddy is pulling that off.

fuck go daddy.

auction2post calls it "masking links" and i'm sure as fuck not going to change it because some cunts at go daddy decided to coin "masking domains"

hxxp://yourdomain.com/~the-keyword-rich-title-from-ebay/postID.html
upcoming version will allow user to define their own masked link style.

try and footprint that bitches! lol.

Ha ha...I like the way you've set that up.

After only a few hours I'm already digging A2P...It's really cool how it actually creates content from the auctions. Let's see those fuck wads at the bay try to say my pages don't have enough quality content now. These bitches should have a 10/10 QS all day long now.

Google has a monopoly because it outperforms its competitors. The last thing Obama or any government should ever touch is the internet.

Google abuses it's market leadership by making the rules up as it goes along, not telling anyone what those rules are, closing accounts without the account holder being told exactly why etc, etc.

One important role of government is to regulate powerful corporations/industries that screw Joe Public Citizen/Small Business because Joe Public Citizen doesn't have the power to make them play fair.

If the ISP's start treating some people's data going through the toobs as more important than other people's data, then the Govt HAS to step in and lay down some rules to prevent abuse of the users.
