Am I just an idiot or am I the only one that didn't see where it said this would be legal in the US?

I know you can buy devices pretty cheap that can block cellphones or listen in on the signal. Turning on either type of device in the US though is a federal crime.

This also is for GSM; CDMA is pretty locked down, so good luck listening in on Verizon, Sprint, or Alltel (non-sold off ones).

I can. It's not extremely difficult, it's just a lot of work. My background isn't originally business and marketing..it's physics and now getting my Ph.D in Electrical Engineering (switched out of physics to EE)
