How to stop this Flippa Scammer - DomainRound

it's really pathethic, but i can't help but feel that the people who buy into this, but I can't help feel that if these buyers didn't get scammed by him they'd be scammed by other people.

I have a #1 ranking site for a keyword, I wanted to acquire a new established site in order to get the #2 position as well. So I went on flippa looking for sites to buy.

I came across a site that was ranking page 3 for the target keyword and it was EMD+suffix.com domain, so decent enough.

I saw his earning statements claiming he makes 1 grand a month from it. This is bull because I am #1 and that's how much I make, there is no way that guy was gonna be page 3 and make the same money as me.

I basically wrote that all out and called him out for lying, I even pointed out the fallicies in his own statements.

I noticed that 4/5 of the affiliate procuts he was promoting were clickbank products, and his clickbank earnings were $20 a month. 1/5 products he was promoting were on shareasale.com, and the shareasale income statements were for total income and may include earnings from all his other sites.

So I pointed that out, surely if he's promoting 80% of his homepage promoting clickbank products then the law of acerage says that a singificant chunk of the site earnings must come from clickbank, but it only has $20 of sales. So the site isn't making money.

He weasled out of the questions which I posted publicly on the auction pages. Much to my frustration, there were others posting genuine questions wanting to buy.. I get fucking annoyed that noone is taking me seriously, the bid was already into 4 figures so I thought fuck it, I only wanted a basic site and domain. This is beyond my budget, so I left it.

3 months later I'm still looking for a site, so I go on flippa and stumble onto the same auction which is now sold. It went for $2,500. I went on the site, new owner, redesigned and everything. I contacted him and asked just for my curiosity, how much money is the site making.. He told me since the 2 months he's owned it, it had made him £0

I got angry, SO WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T YOU HEED MY WARNINGS THAT I POSTED FOR ALL TO SEE!!

Actually I didn't type that out, I was just thinking that.. I just asked politely, man I posted concenrs on the page didn't you read that?

He ignores the question and gives me some bull how he's a self made millionaire affiliate marketer and 2.5 grand isn't much money to him.. I think he was just making that up to massage his ego.

Lesson learnt, some people can't be helped, if you out scammers, nobody really thanks you for it, and you just expose yourself to a vulnerable position. Get banned, create enemies etc.

If people are stupid enough to buy shit, they deserve to be scammed... They will think twice next time...

By the way are you not scamming people with fake acai, grant, bizop, rebills, etc?

Your websites don't have any of these?

^oops did it again, just outed flippa

p.s. i was really surprised when challenge.co mentioned flippa as a way to sell their site post challenge, i was thinkijg, isn't that a dangerous game they're playing sending all these noobs to flippa, they could waste a lot of money on crap sites and lose out

A. They are greedy as fuck and think they're getting some kind of special deal. "Oh shit, this site made $5,000 in its first week and he only wants $20,000 for it! Man, I am going to bank in a few months for sure!"

B. They're fucking stupid and they watch too many god damn infomercials late at night about "making free money with websites with as little as 1 hour of work a week!". Go back to your shit office job/cubicle and GTFO of the internet.

C. Who in the fuck would sell a website that made $x,xxx in its first week for $50,000 unless they knew it was not going to last? If you make $x,xxx in your first week then congrats because you just created a beast of a website.

D. OP definitely got took by the faggot on flippa. No other reason why he'd make a user name like that and signup here just to talk shit about this faggot and flippa. Good job getting scammed idiot, ask your boss for your job back on Monday because the thing you told him about getting rich online just blew up in your face.

E. Lastly, and most importantly. "flippa has gone to shit recently". No, flippa has always been shit and you have always needed a fucking lice comb to find anything for sale on that site which wasn't either an epic pile of shit or outright scam.

The majority of the Flippa buyer base seems to be pretty stupid...
I sold one site and it was more of a headache because the goof ball didn't know the difference between a webhost or a game show host.

I can see why it's the target of so many scammers...

Flippa

You know.. I don't like how Flippa runs their businesses but they are the best around. Maybe if they had more people available to look into websites like these, it'd be better.

About that guy scamming. I've seen quite a few of his domains he has been selling. But seriously, he has 100% feedback. I mean, if he were to sell a website which made X amount and a buyer finds out it doesn't make that amount, wouldn't they post a bad review? Makes sense.. doesn't it?

I hope I am getting somewhere here.

You should buy one of hide sites and let us know ;)

Claim that your website makes $1,000 per week

Sell it for $20,000 to a chump

During the next 4 weeks, spend $1,000 each week on the chump's new website

Profit $16,000?
