Looking at this thread not many people are aware on how you can view live tv streams on your tv using a ps3/xbox/whatever DNLA player you use.
All you really need is a serviio which is a free program here
Serviio media server
Its a free download.
Next download the serviio plugin called groovy and place it in your serviio/plugins folder.

To choose a live rss channel to add to serviio.
for example turn on your serviio
Go to Library and click add and choose RSS/Atom feed

Should look like this
Turn on your ps3 xbox or whatever DNLA player you use
Click video>Online
You should see a list of channels that work.
