HTC One

Htc one looks great, but heard terrible reviews about the battery.

Yeah it would defintiely drain within about 8 hours but I installed Juice Defender and stopped it auto-synching like every 5 mins and now it lasts a whole day easy.

So the HTC one is a solid choice? I have the HTC Evo 4g and had it for 2 years since may and I think I'm able to upgrade now. I need a new one, seems like the HTC one is the choice?

Upcoming Verizon Phones (2013): Galaxy S4, HTC One, iPhone 6

iPhone 4 user here, waiting until July to decide what to switch to.
HTC One or S4 the iPhone 6 I doubt will be anything special, I want the bigger screen :D

What is that article basing the idea of an iPhone 6 off of? The last 3 releases at least have been in September and they'll most likely come out with a 5s this year per their current release pattern. The big news this year is iOS 7 not the actual phone

It's liberating having a damaged, unreliable s2. I don't listen to music whilst walking anywhere, so I have better quality thoughts. I can make phone calls and tether if needed, but I go through phases of not having a sim card, it depends a lot on what country I'm in. I spend enough time on my computer as it is, it's nice to disconnect.

This thread might help me as well. I lost my mobile a month ago (Nokia N97). I now want to switch to latest available and I have S4 in mind but when I see Samsung advertising about latest technologies like this it makes me think again if it is the right time to buy a phone or should I wait?

Overall it looks like a really nice phone, but being on Verizon I don't think it's even been announced. Worse still is the 64 GB version is an AT&T exclusive, at least for the time being. If you ask me, HTC really screwed the pooch on this one. Got the S4 on pre-order.

You can buy a 64 gig LTE version with an unlocked boot loader, marketed at developers obviously, direct from HTC if you don't need to tie the purchase to a contract renewal subsidy.

I was on the fence between the HTC One and the HTC 8X, went with the 8X (win phone 8) and almost returned it for the One. But when I played with the One a few days later HTC's faux live tiles on the One seemed kludgy compared to the Win Phone's and I don't keep much local on my phones so I didn't need all the storage. The lack of apps kind of sucks but there are only two or three that haven't been ported to winphone and being able to get XBox music service on there was a big enough trade off to make it worth it to me.

If i were you I would look for performance, durability and use. Dont go with the excitement, It only stays up for first 10 days after then you only blame yourself. I havnt used any HTC phone, S4 wud be my go.

I still have an S2 and I'm waiting for the S6 so I can say hey my phone is newer then yours.

No Im kidding; I'm not a faggot.

HTC, Apple, Samsung. All brands you pay money to. Quit being a faggot.

Comparing brands with passion, is like saying I'm getting fucked with a bigger dick metaphorically speaking.

The real reason I'm waiting for the S6 or 7 is because I change my phones like my cars: when they die. I don't like apple because all the fags do. If Steve Jobs didn't own apple he would have bought another phone.
