Thought I'd share this lol I made...So what would the yankees do if they had to ride out a REAL hurricane Like Ike? Shit their pants and die of shock? The storm surge is expected to reach all of 8-10 whole feet! OMG!!! Game over, man, game over!!

I realize the storm is physically big, and that "if you've neva experienced a strong 'noreaster' ( I fucking have always hated that term ), you've neva truly been ina storm". Got to ride one out when I was in the Navy. I slept through it while all the east coast guys wondered if the ship would sink :facepalm:

OP you are being ignorant. The north is not prepared for monthly hurricanes like the south is, so there is really no comparison.
 
It's pretty bad when a guy, supposedly in the Navy, makes fun of 8-10 feet storm surges. It's as if he doesn't even know what a storm surge is.

5 people dead so far. None on coasts. Apparently a guy was killed in front of his kids, trying to take his family over to a neighbor's house with power.

ALl the streets of NYC will be flooded by up to 6 more feet of water by tonight's end.
 
Maybe the thought of your parents being without power for a week is the lulz for you but I don't particularly care for it.

I'm buying them a generator for Christmas.

Got hit hard here. Thankfully it's going down.

Our basement floor is flooded about 4-5 feet. Two of our cars had water up their side mirrors. I'm happy that I parked my bimmer elsewhere on another property. The water never reached the bumper there.

Overall fuck this shit. Will cost a pretty penny to replace all since we had no flood insurance.

I've seen that shit happen too many times. As soon as a hurricane comes, I move all my cars to really high ground.

Seems like the fakest person i've ever seen report a story. Seems like an actor who settled for any job she could find on tv... no compassion at all.. and her nose looks plastic

I used to live on e91st (btween 1st and 2nd), Astoria Queens, and in Jersey City ....... pretty sure all places are under water now where i lived
