So apparently . . . . They estimate America will have to come up with OVER $100 Billion dollars to fix everything Sandy has done......................

The east isn't built or prepared to handle hurricanes like Florida is, the same way Florida isn't prepared to handle a snowstorm. You guys get two inches of snow and your entire state shuts down, it works the same up here. We get a category 1 and there's a lot of shit we aren't prepared to deal with

It wasn't dubbed "Frankenstorm" just because we are near Halloween. This is a hurricane combining with a big winter storm in a way that probably hasn't happened since well over most of the people on wickedfire were born. The full moon doesn't help either.
