...I am fat - Please Help

Hahahaha

You know what I actually read?

"Remember you were the fattest sperm"

...fattest sperm aside I find it interesting when people, skinny people do not understand how fucked up of a trap being fat is.

No one sets out to be 300lbs. Its not like I did not notice it happening but its kind of like this.

I am sad, I fap
I am sick, I fap
I want to celebrate, I fap
I want to procrastinate, I fap
Bored....I fap

I changed it for you, it's your road map to becoming skinny.

Here's 3 simple ways that helped me lose a bit of weight:

- Only purchase foods from the outmost brim of the grocery store. That's usually all fresh fruits/veggies/meats... all the processed stuff is usually in the middle. I hate following a diet so I follow this "1 simple rule" for all my dietary concerns.

- Leg workouts. Develop these bad boys (biggest muscles in your body) and you'll raise your metabolism even when just sitting on your ass/sleeping. Bigger muscles require more calories to work so go for bang for buck and work them legs.

- Cut out alcohol. I stopped drinking beer on a weekly basis and dropped 10lbs literally changing NOTHING else in my life. Plus, I'm Asian so the instant-hangover made this one easy :P

I used to be very fat until age 14 when I snapped. A group of guys laughed at me and called me a fat fuck in front of the girl I liked, and she laughed too. I was grrrrr, fuck that you goddamn cunts. I started hitting the gym every day after school. I had no idea what I was doing, but I was doing something anddoing it consistently, so I lost a lot of fat and gained a good amount of muscle and my life was changed forever because I never want to go back.

Really, at your weight any significant change in your lifestyle will have a significant impact on your weight. I'll leave the exact changes to other guys, there are a lot of good ideas posted already. The key is to change elements of your lifestyle, and not to go for a temporary change (ie. a diet). Make new habits. Commit to exercising 3 or 4 times a week. Exactly what you do is less important than making the consistent change. Once you get down to 200 pounds or so, then refining your approach will probably be more critical to continued progress. But just get started, worry about the finetuning once you've started.

I think if you hit it to hard and to fast you are doomed to failure.

Walking is good ot try backpacking, I lost 18 pounds on a ten day trek. When I was getting in shape for it I'd walk 3 miles a day, gave up all pop and was losing then, without that as a goal. Work up your distance and your speed as you feel up to it. I worked up from 3 to 4mph which is a good workout. Make sure you have good shoes, like Saucony.

If you have an iphone check out the 100 pushups app.

loosing weight is a marathon, not a sprint. Its gonna take a while to get it all off, but it will be worth it. Do you have a gf? If not, let pussy be your motivation.

As a professional trainer, I would recommend the following things:
- do not go nuts on any methodic you use. Start slowly but do not stop until you see the results.
- at least one hour of outside walking
- do not eat anything after 3 - 4 hours before bed time
- drink lots of water, that depends on your body size, daily activities and the load
- do not use any chemistry.
- go do some research about how the food affects your body organs so you have an idea of what you need to get rid of the most. I shall say that it does not really matter how much food you eat if you compensate it with your activities.
- run-lola-run. I know, I hate running too but that's the way for you to build up your stamina for other exercises.
- lower your sugar and salt use as much as you can. They prevent your body from losing water and you need it.

Hmm... I guess that's the main things to start with. Oh, yeah, you may wanna find the friends. It's much easier to do with some one. Good luck. Let me know if you need any other advice.

Go to the gym 3 times a week, do cardio 2 times a week (even a mile run works)

Eat a die consisting of low carbs, high GOOD fats, and moderate to high protein, say 40-40-20 or something like that. Write out a meal plan and stick to it for the most part. Each week bump it down 200-500 calories till you hit about 500 below you maintenance.

Good foods: Chicken breast, brown rice, oatmeal, fruits, veggies, peanut butter, jelly, red meat.

Just like anything else, its something you need to be serious about or not at all. Do you want the life change or not? If so, follow those steps pretty strictly, give it time and you'll see results.

I am fat.

I am tired of being fat but I am confused as hell of what I am supposed to do.

I have been chubby since 5th grade....fat fat probably 3 years. I am so used to being overweight I actually do now remember how it feels to be skinny.

The thing is I consider myself intelligent enough to figure things out but the diet industry is so fucked up with so much conflicting information I am not sure what is legit and what is actually bad for you.

It seems that there are two schools of thought.
1. Exercise like a maniac, eat 6-8 meals a day (most Fitness / Gym type of diets)
2. Exercise like a wuss, do not eat any carbs. (Primal diet, Caveman diet, Paleo diet)

I keep going to the grocery store trying to buy healthy foods...and they end up rotting in my fridge.

I guess overall I am just unsure about what path I should follow. I really do not want to be a crazy gym rat, but at the same time I realize I would have to change my lifestyle if I wanted to lose weight.

I am 5'10", 293lbs btw :(

P90X. If you do P90X properly, and I mean hitting play EVERY FUCKING DAY, you WILL lose weight. Don't eat less, just eat the right foods: meat, fish, salad, fruit, non fat milk, oats. Avoid soda, juice, sugary shit, sauces, fast food, etc. Avoid white bread, only eat wholemeal. Drink a lot of water and stick to water only. If you eat the right foods and exercise daily it's impossible not to lose weight.

The only reason it's 'hard' is because fat people tend to be the laziest fuckers around. They'll whinge and moan about being overweight, even while eating. So don't be one of those fat fucks and do something about it. Wish you the best :)

I have two girlfriends...so yeah vagina is not a motivator...but I understand your point.

You contradicted yourself. How could you remember how it was to be skinny if you were chubby since 5th grade?

Anyways I'm not chubby but what I did was cut soda completely and started drinking 8-10 glasses of water/day instead and lost 8lbs within 1st month :bowdown::bowdown:

Props to you for saying "enough is enough" and taking the first step to actually doing something about it.

Diets and everything be damned. The MOST IMPORTANT thing you will ever do is deciding that you want to be fit. If you honestly make that bargain with yourself the how will work itself out easier than you think.

So, I'm curious...What's your daily habits like? Include your eating habits (and be brutally honest).

It all comes down to the diet. Seriously. Anyone that says you can lose xxx lbs in xx days is lying, just like in SEO the people who say they can rank you to spot x in xx days.

Check out the forum at Bodybuilding.com, specifically the (Teen?) bodybuilding forum and the nutrition forum. They will help you.

I think he meant to say "I actually do not remember how it feels to be skinny."

+1 on the water. In my off season from lifting I used to have some really bad habits when it came to liquids. Sometimes I'd have 2-3 energy drinks a day and a pop/beer at night.

Recently I've gone 100% ice water with lemon and cucumber slices (normal water is boring). It's actually a habit now and I crave it instead of the other crap.

My energy is through the roof, my cancer risk is way down (energy drinks + diet sodas = bad), and I'm not bringing in all the extra sugar and shit calories.

...Oh and take a few green tea extract pills every day. Major benefits there, plus caffeine haha

It's simple...

1. Eat clean, and don't over eat. This means whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats. Balanced meals.

2. Work out every day. Do whatever you like...swim, bike, run, lift weights, cardio machines, whatever.

Try to estimate how many calories you burn every day, and just make sure you eat less calories than that.

Follow those simple guidelines and you'll lose weight...period.

oops that was a typo. I meant to say "I do not remember being skinny"

I did P90x for three days. I felt like a beached whale rolling around.

that's exactly why you should stick with it. In a few weeks you wont feel like that anymore and you'll be able to see results. If it makes you feel any better, I used to compete in bodybuilding competitions and I still died doing P90x. it's definitely an amazing workout, so feel motivated, not discouraged.

My habits:
Exercise = 0
Drink wise: water and about 1-4 cokes a day
Food wise: I never cook.

But lets take today.

Breakfast: 1 coke, 1 cup of milk cookies
Lunch: 1 coke, chips, BBQ sandwitch

Not a normal day, I don't eat cookies a lot, but I craved them. At the same time if that was not it, I would probably eat something equally horrible.

And for the record I am not pretending that I am eating properly and not losing weight, just having issues of figuring out the path I need to follow.

But yet anything away from this would be a positive step.

Well, we've now identified the problem. Don't play dumb like you can't figure out the path you need to take FFS. It's not rocket science. For starters, don't drink Coke for breakfast ya numpty. Jesus.

I kind of feel like we're being trolled here.
