I Confess, I bought a Google Kit

I learned about AM through a friend of a friend who instead of answering my questions just referred me to Google Cash. Personally I don't like promoting bizops because it could create more competition for us.

@ Unarmed Gunman, That's severely fucking weird. I'm sure you already know from discussions around but the same guy helped me get going as well. Everytime I tell Barman, he tells me to stick a gun in my mouth. Fact is, Steve got me started writing online and it was the first real income I had coming in.

I didn't know that, but now I don't feel so dirty!

If I was a noob I'd probably be scared to admit to it, but I'm doing alright so there's no shame in giving thanks to good ol' Wags - lol. I'm a skeptical bastard by nature, so I remember saying to myself - if this is a scam, he deserves my $47 because he sold me on that shit for real. It's been a few years but I remember actually thinking he had to be legit, because a scammer wouldn't have used such an ugly fucker on the sales page.

From that, I learned how important face shots, using names etc are when it comes to an LP, because people identify better with a product when they can place a face and name to it. If it worked on me, I knew it would work on most people. That knowledge alone was worth thousands.

You're not alone. I found my way into AM by buying some shit from this guy:

Steve Wagenheim's Honest Income Program.

That's pretty crazy. I never would have suspected Steve Wagenheim of getting anyone started in anything other than peddling MMO stuff to other Warrior Forum newbs, considering how much people on this board have ripped on Wag's picture, and on the Warrior Forum in general.

So does this mean he's legit? Or just that his product was the one to open your eyes to AM?

Look at this confessions of a former noob thread we got going here.

Alright here's mine: I never bought a rebill but I did get started with an ebook. I honestly can't remember the name of it, something with Adwords. Somehow it lead me to search for Affiliate Marketing accounts on facebook (why facebook I have no idea , I guess maybe to chat with people) For some strange reason Jon was in that group too and he told me to get my stupid newb ass in wickedfire if I really wanted to learn AM. I was intrigued by his social grace so I decided to check out this wickedfire.

You guys had me from "Tits or GTFO".

His product was legit, but there's no money in it. He basically just opened my eyes to article writing etc., which then lead me to DP, and then thankfully to WickedFire. I never did stumble in to WarriorForum thankfully, but my bullshit detector is pretty good, so I would have left even if I had.

Jon's famous $80k CJ Stats thread on Sitepoint got me into AM. Back when he was known as Mook Jon. :) And I read Tyler Cruz's blog.

I first learned what AM was from SiteSell.

I didn't buy the product, but I did download the ~120 page free ebook and read it from cover to cover. It basically walked me step by step how to make a high content website to sell CJ products.

Same story here. I'm proud to say I never bought into an eBook or rebill.

I first got into this online monies making in 2005 from a $40 ebook "the waterhouse report" by neil waterhouse...
That was pure shit..

Then I found digitalpoint, sold ebooks there, bought an auto-clicker software and used it to blackhat email submits.. got a check for $3000 and a ban from two networks so i decided to go whitehat... dang Im 100% whitehat these days :)

not the same kind of feel good story but I typically have the advertisers send me samples of the products that I promote. Helps me get my mojo going for ways to promote them. I have a closet full of shit!
