vmware is nice for running windows inside linux if you need photoshop, flash etc

kind of amusing how lunix is all mainstream now.

I only typically use vmware fusion on my mac whenever I need to test a website in IE7/8 quickly without rebooting. Works really well with XP installed.

It's also a good way to setup a dummy window for any kind of install or private browsing in which you could restore quickly to a snapshot and revisit a site.
