I Fucked My Car Up This Morning

A car is a depreciating asset & i have zero interest in cars hense i drive a practical one - driving a suzuki doesnt embarass me - its a great car :)

I am glad someone else here on WF realizes this. Brandon I've meet you a few times ( ASW and AdTech ) but I'm gonna give you a +rep for speaking the truth on this.

I drive whats practical for me ( wife and 3 kids, live in rural area ) so I have 2 SUV's, but I would for sure rock a smaller car if I could get away with it full time. We do have a smaller Dodge Caliber to putt around in when in town, but mostly we have to drive the SUV's when going anywhere with kids or towing the boats.

You should leave the dents; it gives the car some character. This way, when someone tries to make fun of it for being a 'practical' car, you can say at least it knows how to take an ass-whippin.

yup, what he says.

Buy a car for 50k, and sell it for 25k a few years later.

rofl. that's not my thang.

everyone who is trying to rag on hustler for the car he drives - have you ever wondered why warren buffet drives a lincoln towncar and doesn't spend money on flashy, expensive cars? bunch of real weenie hut jr's in the thread.

keep hustlin, hustler.

+1

Turn it into a beater. The next dent won’t hurt nearly as much.

The raddest beater I’ve been in had magic marker graffiti all over the seats. Anyone who sat in it was obliged to leave their mark.

+rep - I totally agree. Even though I love nice cars, it doesn't make financial sense to me...

Sorry to see / hear about your car! That's a bummer!

This is why I buy used. Just a few years to let the depreciation do its thang and then I'm good. Hasn't failed me yet and I've always came out on top upon resell or total loss via theft and accident.

lol - yeah I hate it when that shit happens, I actually have a 1972 kawasaki that i putt around town:

One night I was drininking a few beers and decided to change the spark plugs..... did not tuch the bike for a few weeks, got on it and the fucker cranked up when I pulled the clutch the fucker went into reverse and I hit one of my cars (2 stroke motors do that {go in reverse if you reverse the sparplug fire order})

AWESOME:bowdown:

An auto is just a tool to get you from point A to B. I'm old as dirt so flashy pussy mobiles don't gain my attention anymore. I drive a 94 Chevy pickup that looks like hell. It's paid for and has lasted a lot longer than some whiz bang models of late. :)

Might be better to pay for the repair yourself rather than going thru insurance and paying premiums. You'll probably end up paying more in the long run....

Most popular automobile among self made millionaires: Ford F150

Plus you can't pack out an elk in sports car. Well, you probably could but wtf, talk about depreciation.

I was told the same thing after a recent fender-bender.
