You know how I feel about Soccer, and when it lands in main stream news of some kind, it only fuels me.

#1 How retarded can you be to even give the other team a free goal.

#2 How can your organization not know if it's "legal" and put it under investigation?

I was disappointed to not see blood/urine bombs, grenades or riots over this.

Soccer, even your league administrators are giant pussys!

They are. The play in Serie B (the second division).

Quick explanation for those who care: while the rules of the game state that you should only stop playing when the referee whistles, it's common for players to throw the ball out when an opponent is injured in order to allow the medical staff to check on him. The Ascoli player didn't realise (or maybe he just didn't care) the Reggina player was injured and went on to score. Fight ensues between players and the Ascoli manager orders his players to concede a goal. Fair play but not necessary, France didn't concede a goal to Ireland after the blatant Henry handball.

By the way, Ascoli then lost 3-1.

as for the goal, it was fair play and actually there's nothing wrong with it. I just find it funny that you seem to find more interesting stories about football than I do, even tho you claim to hate it.
 
Now thats a screwed up industry if ever there was one.. I mean, come on! In what other industry is soooo much cash pumped into not only how well the footballer performs, but how good looking he is, and how much cash he can bring in from advertising :(

Heh? You mean the 100 million dollar a year PGA Golf, NBA Basketball, NFL Football, MLB Baseball, NHL Hockey, etc. etc. etc. endorsement deals that exist with all the top players? That would be "sports" for you.

No it's the opposite, I just hate soccer that much that if something ridiculousness happens, and for some reason our media thinks we would give two squirts of piss about it I have to say something.
