I need to find a new web host. Which would you suggest?

Hostgator is definitely the way to go if you want cheap, reliable shared hosting.

Check my signature for their coupon code for the first month .01 cent deal... try them for a month and see what you think.

All good suggestions. If you find a host and want an honest look into them, I can help ya. I ran hosting companies for about 5 years, I can tell ya whether their DC is reliable, support seems decent, etc.

HostGator is what I use right now because I knew the owner back when. Just dont overuse your resources, and you really won't have anything to worry about.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but I have hosting with BlueHost and their sister HostMonster and the price is $6.95. No extra fees, etc. You have to pay 2 years upfront to get that price, but most web hosts offer discounts to customer who prepay. Still that's only about $170 and you don't have to worry about paying off the bill for another 2 years.
 
don't use startlogic (even though they're #1 on my site cause they pay me the most). They don't let you talk to tech support... Their phone support is just idiots who take down a ticket for you over the phone.

inmotion's ok but maybe too expensive according to your statement about bluehost... hostgator seems ok but i haven't heard feedback about them yet.
