When you put yourself on the line, and work your ass off, good things happen. It's tough... and it's a grind... but it's funny how hard work, educating yourself and constantly applying yourself seem to make "lucky things" happen. You're creating opportunities and it won't be long until you start walking through these doors you're building.

That's a little motivation.... now... here is my attempt to make you smile. It's a poem I made up just now:

It sucks when we must go to work
And work the night away
There are things we'd rather do
like make sites M-F-A
Then we sign on WickedFire
And call worseless people gay
Drink some Jack and go to sleep
And do the same the next day

When you're most frustrated
you can vent with people here
Call DruSam the whitest black guy
Call BlueBobbo queer
Trust that it will all work out
Keep working... never "quit it"
If all else fails, invite me over
Cause you know that

I wasn't sure about starting this thread, but I am so very glad I did. This actually helps to come here at the end of the day.
Ok, day two is done. 9 more hours down. I even snuck in a little relaxing and went out for a beer with a lady from work for about an hour.

Internet work-the past two days I also wrote 3 pages for websites Bob and I are working on, categorized some posts for my newly moved blog, and have a plan for a blog that's actually has a niche.

Bryan Le it really does make a difference knowing there's a place to go for help
projectdwhl I'm doing my best to grind as fast as I can, but getting too old to hit Jack too often
Katloved you are a wise man, I could go longer without beer and Jack than I could go without caffine.
dastuff damn it you found my boyfriend, I try to keep my men confidential. Alcohol is good because it fast forwards me to relaxing
webthisway Thank you and welcome. Really great suggestions. Hope to see more posts from you on WF.
wickedest After I reapeat "I can do it" several times a day, I will follow it with, "this too shall pass"
Deliguy Wow, my own cheerleader......life IS good
trigatch4 Damn...you know the perfect encouraging words, write poems, AND you put the biggest grin on my face........God I wish you were here :)
Uzzz props can be good

Night all and thank you!

Wow.

Mom, you work way too much I can't wait until our projects begin producing income even if it is only a little. It's still a start...

I feel like I live so far away but I'm only 1 hour 30 minutes away.

Anyways... We will be successful because we are using each other's talents (your writing skills and my site developing skills) to develop these projects. :)

Also, we're doing what Jon recommends... only begin a partnership to cover a weakness.

Day three and 6 hours down. It was an easy day and I did Halloween stuff with the girls, Bob's wife, and our old neighbor (she's like one of my kids) and her husband. Had dinner for everyone and had the night off. This morning I did some research and a couple blog posts before work.

Tomorrow will be a little rough 4.5 hours at the second job and a 19 hour shift (I get to doze off some during the night) at my full time job.

bobschmuck You are right I do. Reminding myself I've got a plan to be free from excessive wage earning helps. Thank you for your part in it. Your wife and sisters should be there by now, thank you both for helping with the girls.

I almost sat down at the computer and started writing, but I decided against working on internet projects and just continue relaxing tonight. Sometimes I do know when to say when.

So where did everyone go? I have one more day to go! Hey guys, its OK, the posts I did get were great, it got me through the week!

I have to admit, this week was rough on me. I had a few moments at the call center, I questioned if I could make it to my next break and get more caffine down my throat! One more 8 hour shift tomorrow to go and its over!! YeeeeeeeeeHaaa!

I have committed time and energy to wage earning, so last night, when I had a very rare Friday night off, I stayed home (I was too burnt out to go out anyways) and committed my time to internet projects, since this week was about making money. Didn't get as much done as I wanted, but got more done than if I didn't try. Learned more valuable lessons.

Bob still has his sisters so next week I'll work some extra hours because I have the opportunity to get some OT at my full time job, so i'm going to work because it's easier and more relaxed than the hours at the call center! When my manager at the group home told me we were approved for OT, it made my day. Over there I have "down time" and I watch movies with residents and can research and write for my internet ventures while I get paid.....life is good!

Sorry I have not replied yet.

YOu are showing great dedication to get everything in order.
So I think you ARE on the RIGHT TRACk and you WILL SUCCEED!

GO JANET!

think of the end result when you are doing the hours, paying your bills and getting them off your back etc..

Suggestion: why don't you sell your blog for the extra money, you can always start another one, or do some writings services, pm me if you are interested in doing some articles for me.

Jan, I am more a lurker than poster. I too am a newbie to all of this and I have got to say that you inspire me. I enjoy your posts and appreciate your humor and admire your energy. Keep up keeping up.

7 days...52 hours at the call center.....19 hours at the group home.....7 vacation hours......some internet work accomplished...this week....IT IS OVER!

Picture me-happy dancing and cheering!

Thank you everyone for making a rough week go down a little easier, I do love you guys here at WF.

I have extra hours next week, but its at the group home and its easy (yard work and cooking-which I enjoy. Down time watching movies, reading, and writing. A few hours of real "work"). Here's a description of the difference of both jobs. (please ignore the contruction status on this blog...thank you).

emp That was perfect for me today, it helped me remember I am getting closer to the goal (replay me doing happy dance), its easy to be distracted by the process sometimes.
L16745 Wow....I have Winston's quote up at my second jog, I didn't know it was his quote, I heard it first in a country song that's plays a lot now. (PM's are started! :) )
oogie1947 Thank you for coming our of the lurkers' shadows to post, compliment :), and to let me know that what I'm doing is helping others.

Tonight as I drove home I was thinking I how fortunate I am to have the opportunity and the health to work like I do (and said a prayer for those who can't work) and I felt blessed and I really saw what a good life I have. It even rained tonight (I love the rain...don't see much of it most of the year)!
