Hi

I'm not really great at Affiliate Marketing and I don't think it's for me personally. I'm starting up my own retail business at the moment, but I also want to start a side business that I don't have to share with my business partner (50/50).

I want to provide a service like content, how hard would it be to have a site made for me that allows me to hire writers to login and write articles for clients, and then I receive a cut of each payment in order to make a profit? (if you get me)

If that sounds stupid, do you have any other ideas for a service business, like reselling an application etc?

Matt

i dont think it's that as easy, automation is great, and idealistic, but it only works in an ideal and perfect environment....

Wouldn't resell something just the same as Affiliate marketing?

STOP ASKING QUESTIONS, OBSERVE AND LEARN YOURSELF - It's the best answer I can give.

OP don't do a content business, you'll want to fucking kill yourself after even 3 months of it. Go straight into affiliate marketing and scaling paid traffic campaigns, seems to be the best way to do shit.

this ^ is gold, used to think that i can read up on something and plan it all out way in advance. think it through all the way. impossible. wasted a lot of time that way. now, if it's something you haven't done before, do it, get results, and then correct course. the 2nd time around you'll be able to do better planning and so forth.

the idea of learning from other people's mistakes is wrong in most cases. For things like: he made a mistake, he killed somebody, don't do that, is a good example to learn from other mistakes. but something like starting a business or going through life experience it will just not work, because going through the experience the first time, sets up the emotional/neural paths in your brain, so that the second time around you just breathe through it all.

the only advice i give is for the person to start doing it, then they can only come for me for advice after initial attempt, i usually don't care of it it's success/failure, but go do something, and not just mentally masturbate about how it will turn out or not

Why do you want to offer content services? Think wider (outside of webmaster/affiliate box). Like some services to businesses that are not related to this field.

ideas for service businesses

pet fish washer
toilet licking
mail bomb shipment
soup kitchen delivery service
sex offender babysitting service
transvestite fashion consultant

thats all i've got so far, maybe some others could be as generous as I have with my exclusive service business ideas

hope this helps

But what? I mean let's be honest anything else would require some level of experience/expertise like management etc.
