Identify my hosting needs please

Until now, registering a website was a process consisting of

a) buying a namecheap domain name
b) hosting it on hawkhost

Its been all good, no problems whatsoever, but now when I think about hosting little bit more websites, lets say 10 websites, it seems like that way of doing it is expensive.

What kind of hosting should I take for things like this?

Im looking at few "Reseller" offers...Hawkhost $18/month, but theres this company called ApertureHost who has some good reviews online and runs at $8/month.

My bandwidth needs are not that heavy, I have Flickr pro account and Vimeo account...and YuTube of course. So theres no heavy content on hosts themselves.

Should I go with this reseller ApertureHost or are there better plans out there of my needs?

VPS would be burning money, I dont need it at the moment.

Domain registering is not possible on these deals? I can only do it via sites like namecheap or GoDaddy? Or not?
 
Can't you just upgrade your hosting plan? Like on HostGator (don't quote me on the exact amount, not positive) they have options between hosting 1 domain, 5, or unlimited (which I believe is $15 at the most? Again too lazy to look up).
 
I've got a few hawkhost accounts, they all allow addon domains. Really no point in paying for and setting up a new account for each domain.
 
I use the HostGator Baby Croc Plan, which is $9.95/month, and you can host tons of domains.
