I'm currently doing research for a newspaper links web app. Basically, it monitors a list of 27,000 newspaper, local news, radio, magazine, and other sites that are filtered by: able to leave comments, able to leave comments plus a link, and JavaScript based comments (ie Disqus). You get alerted like Google Alerts every day via email when a site from the 27,000 list of sites mentions your niche/keyword. You can then leave a comment (or have your VA leave a comment) on the site to get TrafficLeaks as well as SEO points and what not.
Is anyone here interested? Their asking for a bajillion dollars up front per month for the API account so I'm not gonna build it unless there's a need.
