Now I'm not really just doing it to save the animals and all that jazz. To be very fair, we are built to eat them. I do however think that the levels of animal exploitation have reached a completely unreasonable point. Furthermore, the number of byproducts and chemical pollutants arising from the aforementioned exploitation is disgustingly dangerous. I refuse to be party to that bullshit and will take myself out of that market, hopefully depriving the industry out of hundreds of thousands of dollars over the course of my lifetime. I've been fairly vegetarian for a while now anyway, eating meat and dairy prouducts rarely (I really love eggs but w/e, I'm willing to do away with them).

There are also the numerous health and spiritual (where applicable) benefits. Here are a few:

Hi sexy, long time.

Also - I kissed a vegan girl and she was amazingly delicious. She legit tasted great, also she had a ton of energy and just gave off good vibes. I liked that :P. Call it another silly reason.

I will tell you my opinion from personal experience, but most people here will make fun of my opinion.

I live in Greece and the religion is Christian orthodox. The religion guide us for many aspects of our lives and a very important aspect is food.

There are periods of time that we fasting meat, milk and by-products of the two, and other periods we fasting meat, milk, olive oil and by-products of the three.

More specifically, 40 days before christmas time we fasting meat and milk. That means we can eat vegetables, pasta, rice etc. We use a lot of olive oil in our diet and most home made food we prepare is based on oil.

Another period of time we fasting meat, milk and olive oil is 49 days before Easter. That period is a hard one because of the lack of olive oil of our dietary.

Most of the other days we can eat pretty much everything (except on Wednesday and Friday).

I am amateur bodybuilder and I will tell you my personal experience. This dietary system is by far the best and most efficient for the human organism. On periods of time of fasting I lose body fat, meaning that my muscles become more visible.

Closing, I would tell you that is not best for your health to be vegeterian. Meat is good to. Eat with prudence. You will live longer that way.

I quit eating meat this year (just eating fish), and I'm thinking about going vegan too.

Quitting meat was because I decided I didn't want to eat anything that would make a cool pet. So, I guess I could eat turtles since the last one I tried to help cross a road tried to bite my finger off.

Going vegan would be for health benefits. I already noticed after quitting meat that my RLS stopped and hasn't happened since. I also know gluten fogs up my brain and need to quit that too.

Just thought I'd contribute. Thaaaaanks.

Going vegan is unhealthy. Animal proteins and fats are both part of a healthy diet. There is nothing healthy about lacking nutrients. If you want to be more healthy, eat more healthy food. Not that hard is it?

How are chickens, cows, pigs etc cool pets? Ever been around them for a while? Especially chickens, they are annoying as fuck. Basically asking to have their head chopped off. But on the other hand people like pewep seem to be attracted to them. Maybe you two are related?

Do you have celiac disease? If not, gluten is just a normal protein. If you can even come up with an explanation of how a protein "fogs up your brain" I would be surprised, I am not even gonna bother asking for scientific research.

Please stop being a faggot spreading false information around. Thanks.
